Dr. Eugene Kang, MD, DMD, is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and Medical Director of Facial Trauma at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Lafayette, Colorado. Dr. Kang received extensive training in full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery including traditional office based procedures such as dental implants and removal of wisdom teeth to complex ablative and reconstructive surgery treating malignancies of the head and neck. The mission of Dr. Eugene Kang and his staff at Aspen Oral and Facial surgery is to provide the most expert medical knowledge with technical excellence, in a warm, pleasant, and caring atmosphere.

Aspen Oral and Facial Surgery places safety at the forefront of everything we do.

The continued spread of COVID-19 across the country is concerning to all of us, and the numbers of cases is expected to increase over the next several weeks. Taking additional precautionary steps could slow the spread of this virus. If unchecked, the number of coronavirus patient cases could add significant stresses of our healthcare system not seen in many years.

As a physician, we have a responsibility to help our patients and yet protect our staffs, ourselves and the community from this pandemic.

To do our part, we have implemented the guidance of the CDC to mitigate these risks.
We are now screening all patients entering our practice.
You will be asked questions about recent international travel as well as quetions about current or recent fever, or upper respiratory/flu-like symptoms in the past 48 hours.
As always, we use CDC-recommended disinfecting wipes to clean all clinical surfaces thoroughly between patients as well as to disinfect bathrooms, reception area countertops, waiting room chairs and door handles.

We want you to know that we are following this situation carefully as it is changing rapidly. We will continue to provide you with the most up-to-date and evidence-based practices.

Dear Patients,
Like everyone around us, we are mindful of this current situation surrounding COVID-19.

Now, more than ever, it is important for us to stay connected and to remember we’re not alone.

As of today, we are keeping regular hours at our office with EXTRA sanitation and care. Please know that we are monitoring the situation closely.

Please stay home if you feel sick and call us to rearrange your appointment. We understand and will do our best to help you with requests to reschedule.

We had a wonderful 2019 end of year dinner with our AOFS families tonight. We can’t thank our staffs enough for their hard work ethics, honesty, genuine and sincere hearts. We may be all unique and different but that is why we make a great team. Thank you very much to our staffs and their families for such dedication and friendship.
