Each shift begins with our medical crew completing detailed bag, aircraft, and equipment checks. Every piece of equipment is physically touched and inspected to ensure it’s ready, charged, and functioning properly. This process ensures we’re prepared to respond when our community needs us, no matter what the day brings!

Members of our base are proud to support our local food banks this holiday season and want to make giving as convenient as possible. We’ve added another drop-off location at the front of the building, across from the emergency department entrance. The gate is open, and you’ll find a collection bin near the door. We invite our community to join us in helping those in need!

Here are some suggested food items if you are looking for ideas: canned fruits and vegetables, pork & beans, canned tuna, canned pork or beef, peanut butter, mac & cheese, spaghetti and sauce, pasta, rice, and cereal

We were glad to welcome the NMU School of Nursing for a look into a day in the life of flight. They got an aircraft tour and hands-on time with helmets and NVGs. We couldn’t go through the bags and equipment as duty called, but we appreciate the visit! 🚁✨
