I've been thinking a lot this morning about a quote from Lisa Ganora that really resonated. She said that single plant constituents are like a loud trumpet, where the whole of a plant's constituents is a melodic orchestra. 🎺

🌿 Whether the reductionist approach to plant medicine (or, really, anything for that matter) is driven by commercialization or a tenet of modern culture, I am not sure. Still, I often wonder, "What's the goal?"

I have always been a fan of the whole plant, trusting the intelligence inherent in holistic extracts and the plants themselves over isolationism.

In life, there are people who shape you in ways you only realize when you look back.

Early in my herbalism journey, I was searching for meaning when I was gifted two books; one on Ayurveda and one on Alchemy. Real Alchemy by Robert Allen Bartlett () sparked a flame that would illuminate my path.

In 2012, I took my first class with Robert, and it blew my world open. His teachings, humility, and kindness laid the foundation for my path in natural medicine. I went on to study deeply with him through his Prima, Secunda, and Tertia classes all within a year, spending countless late nights in the lab, witnessing miracles through the lens of Alchemy.

Our Story

Feral Fungi Spagyric Tinctures are the result of the application of AlcheMycology: looking at fungi through the lens of traditional Alchemy to prepare high quality extracts.

All of our tinctures are dual extracted from the fruiting body of fungi cultivated and wild harvested primarily in the Pacific Northwest and include the purified mineral salts from the mushroom to produce a uniquely holistic extract.

Each fungi has been assigned a planetary correspondence based on the morphology (physical appearance and attributes), physiological properties and qualities, and energetics of that particular mushroom and is processed under that planetary influence to exalt the final tincture.

These tinctures can be used as daily tonics to support the body’s intrinsic function in moderate doses (1-3ml) and to support the body and physiological system through chronic conditions in high doses (3-9ml). These extracts can also be effective for energetic alignment in low doses (0.25-0.5ml).
