Happy Trans Day of Visibility, day!

I am proud to look back at all the memories of bodywork sessions I've given to the people choosing to receive my support. I look forward to continuing to provide body autonomy centered, somatic education informed and experienced massage therapy to all of the bodies that wish to receive my work.

Transponder and the Lavender network have been lovely Orgs to be around. I hope to eventually be endorsed by them and the Trauma Healing Project and expand my Authentic Relating classes to continue to strengthen our culture's "social fabric." I hope to see some of y'all at Pride in Eugene this year.

I recognize all the women in1900s in Russia, New York, Europe and beyond that incepted the original women's suffrage movement.

I choose to believe that the foundation of rights that exist today will endure any storm and that women will be supported by the bedrock of the courageous acts, words and spirit of women that came before.

I hope to provide another 20 years of body autonomy centered, agency respecting and trauma informed professional massage therapy services to those that wish to receive them.

Authentic Relating tomorrow 5:30-7:30PM at Sacred Connections by donation with Fox and myself creating the container beginning with a pre requisite 3 minute meditation before describing the 5 agreements and the games we'll be playing together.

If there's opportunity, I'll facilitate the self knowledge game pictured that went really well, IMO, at AR last year. I was surprised how simple and potent it was at enabling me to listen to the "advice" I already knew but was resisting allowing into my perspective.

Heading to the office in a minute to host a meditation and "Somatic" discussion soon.
Tomorrow, I'm hosting a $15 2hr online ecstatic dance/Authentic Relating fusion that I've enjoyed the past few months. If you've something in your world that you've been wanting to accomplish but haven't been, we'll do 3 cycles of visualizing the physical actions of doing the steps to accomplish the thing with some "self led" movement to shake up what needs to shaken.

I'm co hosting Authentic Relating as usual tomorrow at 5:30 at Sacred Connections. Donations go to support the space. Free booking with address email/text reminders is available under the "classes" section of my website if that helps you attend.

Additionally, based some conversations I've had this week, I feel compelled to re-share these interviews I had with some local professions on the general topic of Safety from different perspectives. As we head into the holidaze season, I hope that all acknowledge that we are all doing the best we can and that we try to make this world easier for one another.

I have a new AR game I created I'm calling "Bad news anchor interviews your villain" that I'll propose we play alongside whatever Fox has prepared for tomorrow eve.

AR description for if you'd like to forward to someone in your life
that you think would benefit and attend a class;

If you choose to attend Authentic Relating, you are choosing to learn
to be more you through play. The 5 agreements of Authentic Relating
create a framework that, when followed, creates a safe space to take
care of yourself in relation with others. Authentic Relating (AR)
differs from "typical" social contracts by illuminating the internal
implicit relational habits you've formed in your journey so far by
bringing them into the external explicit through a rich library of
games.

The five agreements;

1. Respect yourself.
2. Lean into your edge.
3. Stay present.
4. Confidentiality upon request.
5. Check your assumptions.

Before the class begins, I will go over the general principles of AR,
reflective listening skills and the 5 agreements. I believe it's
important to take the time to ensure that each person can ask any
clarifying question and understand the "why" of the agreements.

As many of these relating games can bring up strong emotions as you play with these implicit concepts, I have learned to set a non-negotiable pre-requisite of this class to be that you are able to meditate in self reflection for 3 minutes. This prerequisite is for your emotional safety. While I hope that this class is therapeutic for you, I am neither a trained therapist nor am I encouraging therapy or "trauma dumping" like interactions to happen during these classes. As a listener, it is always your right to stop any interaction you are not comfortable engaging in. "Respect yourself" is agreement number one for a reason.
