I’ve been following Cleaning Fairy Sharie since I’ve been on here. I have been in absolute awe at how perfect she is at her craft; cleaning is her forte.

She works a full-time job educating the most important part of our world, our children, and she does all of it with the best grace of anyone I’ve ever seen-

Her heart is big as the universe, she is so kind and so good to every single person that comments on any of her posts-

So when she commented on mine tonight, I am literally crying the happiest of happy tears. I’m so grateful and so thankful.- I’ll be an admirer forever 🫶

I’m gonna try to clear a few things up in reference to hiring for our high end luxury cleaning service- Clean Keepers, bear with me here this is long but worth the read.

I catch a lot of flack from people saying “ oh she never replied back to me”
“ I had to jump through hoops and she never hired me”
“This must not be a legitimate business “ etc-

It is frustrating for me as a business owner -and don’t get me wrong. I know there are a lot of people in the cleaning industry that try very hard to make other cleaning businesses look bad. We absolutely are not like that, any cleaning business in the CSRA, or maybe even further out could call me at the last minute and need some help and I would do everything I could within my power to assist them.


So let me put a little perspective here. I typically leave clear instructions on how to inquire about the position. Those are either, text the number or email-

Most of the time people will send me a DM, or they will say “interested” or say I messaged you - and the problem with that is, if I haven’t replied to you, you’ve messaged the wrong number, if you’ve only replied “interested” you failed the most simple of instructions, if you DM me, you’ve also failed the most simple of instructions. I’m looking to hire someone that can understand the assignment and handle it.

So here is like a brief insight, just a little bit of what goes on behind the scenes of hiring, and vetting for the perfect candidate. This position is a nice position, with a very reputable cleaning service that is trusted in multimillion dollar homes, in a beautiful and safe atmosphere, excellent pay scale.
You are working in a team of sometimes 3 to 4 people, so you are NOT carrying the entire clean- ever -

My vetting process is also for your safety. I absolutely do not want any of my cleaning technicians in an environment that could be unsafe, or working alongside someone who’s always got a scowl on their face, or their always unhappy or negative and complaining. We need team players. No one wants to work in an environment like that, we try to keep our workplace as happy and as efficient and perfect as possible.
