There are so many great alternatives to processed sweets!

These banana oatmeal cookies from are one of my current faves. They’re a tasty, chewy snack for me, and a great breakfast treat for my kids.

And so easy to make! Simply combine 2 ripe, mashed bananas with 1 cup of quick oats and 1/4 chocolate chips (I used Missy J’s carob chips for a little extra fiber). Toss in 1/4 tsp vanilla and 1/2 tsp cinnamon if you’d like a little extra flavor. Then scoop 1 Tbs sized portions onto a parchment paper-covered baking sheet and gently flatten into cookie shape. Bake at 350 F for 12 - 15 minutes. Enjoy!
