Dr. Jennifer Ostergaard, PsyD, LP
Dr. Ostergaard provides neuropsychological assessments and therapy for children, teens, and young adults (ages 2–22). Many neuropsychologists focus only on testing, but Jennifer helps families not only find answers, she also supports them through treatment and next steps. Having this level of specialized care available locally is a rare and valuable resource.

Ruby Brewer, MS, LPCC
Ruby works with teens and adults ages 16+, supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and major life stressors. She brings a practical, collaborative approach and currently has evening availability until 7pm, making therapy more accessible for busy schedules.

We’re so excited to welcome Ruby to the LMK Behavioral Health team!
She’ll be accepting new clients starting Monday. We’re grateful to have her skills, presence, and heart joining our practice.

Meet Ruby,

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Minnesota and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Wisconsin with over 10 years of clinical experience. My background includes work within the prison system, community mental health settings, and substance use treatment. I work with individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, personality disorders, and significant life stressors. I also have experience working with justice-involved individuals and navigating the complexities of probation and parole requirements.

I strive to create a therapy space that feels grounded, respectful, and safe—where you can be honest without fear of judgment.

My approach is collaborative, direct, and grounded in evidence-based care. I draw from modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and other therapeutic approaches to meet each client’s unique needs. I focus on helping clients better understand their patterns, build practical coping skills, and move forward with greater clarity, stability, and confidence.

I began my career as an independent contractor for a company I’m deeply grateful to. It’s where I grew as a clinician and learned invaluable lessons. Over time, I realized I wanted more autonomy, less oversight, and a more equitable compensation model. This led me to open my own private practice with the goal of creating a space where therapists and medical providers are compensated fairly, respected as true independent contractors, and empowered to manage their own schedules.

Living in northern Minnesota, I’ve seen firsthand how many populations remain underrepresented in the therapy field. That’s why diversity is a core priority for my practice. I’m committed to building a team of clinicians from varied backgrounds and life experiences, ensuring our clients can see themselves reflected in their providers.
