This kid has come SO FAR! Since treatment has ended he’s gained 20 pounds and grew 2 inches! Also gained a fulllll head of hair and his confidence back!! I’m so proud of him for always remaining so strong here’s to nothing but great things ahead!

I’ve been an emotional mess the last 2 days…..

He did it….on HIS time. He was ready and the hat came off all together.

His hair may be darker and curly now but…

His confidence is shining. His smile is brighter. My heart is so happy ❤️

Of all the Amazing things happening on this trip….the one that I’m most thankful for is Patrick had the courage to take off his winter hat and put on a baseball hat with nothing under it! This has been a huge struggle with him. With all the news cameras and media and pictures and videos I knew it would be hard but he did it! After treatment the hair comes back but PTSD stays and man is it rough. It’s a constant fight and so heartbreaking that he’s not comfortable enough. His hair didn’t come in the same and that’s a hard change for him. Praying when we get back home it stays this way or maybe even no hat at all 💛🎗️

Patrick was surprised today and is heading to Arizona next week to attend the Cubs Spring training, thanks to Advocate!

Baseball has played a crucial role in motivating him throughout his fight, so he is so thankful and excited. 💙❤️🎗️⚾️ ☀️
