I have had heart problems for 23 years. Having 5 kids in grammar school and in nursing school myself, there was no time allotted for this nonsense. With so much to do, I did not take time for my health. I have been on a journey for some time now. The journey to win the fight for the healthy life I can only wish I knew about back then. With no direction, no time and as is the case with most young families, no extra money I just plugged along best as I could. Well 23 years later, I’m defiantly older, hopefully wiser and my family has grown to now include not only son in laws, but 10 of the greatest grandkids I could have ever dreamed of. They like having me around. So I have been on this journey and I now know, some things I do not have control over, but many more I sure do, starting with what goes in my body.
