I had the pleasure of serving as a guest reader for Lore’s 5th grade class during their first African American Read-In. This event was a meaningful opportunity to celebrate African American voices, stories, and achievements while showing the power of literacy through leaders students admire. Being a guest reader helped bring reading to life and reminded students that their stories, education, and voices truly matter.

Update on Key 💛
We met with the kidney specialist and learned that Key’s kidneys are currently functioning at about 70% due to damage over the years. While this was a lot to take in, we’re grateful for clarity and a plan moving forward. He will continue to be closely monitored as we focus on protecting and strengthening his health.
