Here’s what I would do 👇🏼
1. Take herbal bitters or digestive enzymes before meals. This helps your body break down food so it’s easier to absorb.
2. Focus on well cooked, easily digestible foods. Skip all the raw veggies for now.
3. Prioritize your nervous system. Take 3 deep breaths before meals (rest + digest) and make sure to sit down for all meals — no rushing!
4. Chew food thoroughly (30x per bite)
5. Eat prebiotic (fiber) and probiotic foods (ferments) as tolerated to feed and seed your microbiome.
6. Support soothing and healing the gut lining through bone broth, aloe and marshmallow or licorice root (DGL).
Gut healing can be highly individual based on what exactly you have going on (ex. some people can’t tolerate fermented foods, bone broth, etc.)
That’s why if you’ve been dealing with chronic digestive symptoms and have “tried everything” testing can be invaluable!
