families and children of all ages are welcome!!! We are an open circle, who accepts all walks and path of Nature based religions; if it is Wicca, Pagan, Neo-Pagan, Druid, Shaman, Buddhist, etc. A circle is more of an open environment with less rules, regulations and restrictions. The goal is to create a comfortable environment where everyone can be relaxed and open and feel accepted. Every member gets to express their opinion and ideas; everyone has a voice when it comes to making decisions. If there is a disagreement, a happy medium can be reached – something everyone agrees with. Teachings: The teaching roles are spread around and rotated, along with a back up just in case the teacher for that day/that class cannot make it. It’s not going to be a class room type environment, more like an informative discussion and exchange of ideas type teaching. Upcoming classes are: The Law of Three & Wiccan, Pagan Ethics and Morals, Wheel of the Year, Stress Management – different meditation Techniques, Herbalism (Homeopathic Remedies), Ritual Courtesy, Crafts (Jewelry making, candle Making, Crocheting, sewing, leather work, etc), Elementals & Elements, History of Wicca/Paganism, Symbols and their Meanings, Plant Lore (Meaning of Trees), Ritual Writing for Esbats & Sabbats, Pantheons (Greek, Celtic, Roman etc), Astrology, Cone of Power, Ritual Objects and Tools, Energy Work, Sacred Places, Meditation & Prayer, Sabbat Cooking, Eco friendly practices/Green Initiatives , APRIL/MAY 2012 (somewhere in there) Thai Chi and Belly dancing for Beginners
Attendance: It is not required or expected for every meeting, sabbat /esbat. We understand that everyone still has a life to live, has plans, is sick, or just doesn’t feel up to it that day. We would appreciate an attendance count about 2 days prior before in order to prepare accordingly (space, food, drink, teachings etc)
Children: Children of all ages are welcome. The Chapel is letting us use their playroom, we will bring in the occasional duplo blocks, crayons, movie etc as well. Parents are still responsible for their children’s actions, and we ask for the parents to please clean up after their children, if there are any messes and such, and also please help with the toy pick up as well. We will have children story time and craft time. If the children and parenst so choose we g;adly set up a Full Moon Ritual for the little ones. When it comes to teaching ritual courtesy, it doesn’t happen overnight, it requires a lot of patience, understanding and love, not only from their parents but from all members of the circle. Finances: This is a nonprofit organization. However we would appreciate members to occasional donate such things as incense, candles, salt, etc for our Sabbat and Esbat Rituals, along with coffee, sugar, and tea honey and so on to replenish our circle stock.
“Military Clause”
Since this circle is military based, people from different branches, ranks, spouses and even civilian employees certain guideline apply:
We respectfully request for all members to refrain from bringing up any work related issues, any personal issues, he or she may have with the squadron unit, housing, the clinic and such, to other members who are affiliated with set organizations. Granted rank does not apply in our circle, however we would like to make sure, that higher ranking individuals, along with civilian employees are not bothered with any of the above mentioned issues, in their free time. Please apply yourself in a manner to not bring any discredit on any of the branches, the chapel and the circle. Since the overall nature based religions are misunderstood, we should portray a positive picture to our community and the base.
