In our latest Chai & Thrive gathering with Dr. Fatuma Barqadle, we were reminded of the deep communal nature of our faith. The Qur’an speaks to us, not just me, reminding us that Islam was never meant to be practiced in isolation.

The Prophet ﷺ modeled this beautifully. He was present with people, truly present. He listened with intention, gave everyone their due attention, and led with mercy. His interactions weren’t transactional; they were transformative.

Yet in our fast-paced, often isolating world, many of us have unknowingly built barriers to community. But healing begins with one small step. Meet one person. Share one chai. Let that be the door to something greater.

Because thriving in faith is rarely a solo journey. It’s one we take together. 🫱🏽‍🫲🏼🫶🏻☕️
