They say the Elder Mother lives within the elder bush—keeper of memory, magic, and healing.
In the old ways, one would never take her flowers or berries without asking, for her spirit guards the threshold between worlds.

When honored, she offers medicine for the lungs and blood, comfort for the grieving heart, and protection against ill winds.
Her berries, dark as midnight, carry the wisdom of endings that become beginnings—the alchemy of life, death, and renewal.

On this night when the veil thins, pause if you pass an elder bush.
You may feel her there—a cool breath, a shimmer in the branches, a whisper that remembers your name.

Offer gratitude. Speak softly.
For those who walk with respect are always under her wing. 🌿🖤

Some flowers are really blossoming right now.
I took some time to smell the flowers today, harvested quite a bunch out of the herbal deva plot and got to spend some time with an amazing business woman.
As small businesses we all have our struggles and it’s so important to support each other along the way. Times change, how we run our businesses change but the one thing that never changes is remembering to take in the beauty and friendships that surround us . Do the things that fill our hearts so we can give back 💜
