Has anyone tried the ab workouts in this book from three-time Mr. Olympia ? The workouts start out very easy but get progressively harder and longer. I got up to work out number 70 something before having the back off and start all over again. Shooting for the full 91 days this time! Seeing changes in my abdominal muscles I’ve never seen before! A pot of warm water!? Every night when we sleep, several pounds of water is lost through respiration. It is important in the morning to replace that. I always drink 3 to 4 cups of water upon rising. Being warm has the added benefit of acting as a laxative too. Coffee and tea tend to dehydrate so drink warm water instead!

“Wheatfuls” shredded wheat cereal is great because it has only two ingredients: whole wheat and vitamin E, with no added sugar! Part of my breakfast this morning sweetened with bananas, raisins, and some frozen organic strawberries. Used Westsoy Unsweetened Soy Milk on the cereal. I also had Brazil nuts, an organic Pink Lady sliced apple, and a couple of slices of cranberry-nut bread. Fruits, grains, and nuts at every breakfast.

Enjoying a vegan vacation with my wife on Dania Beach near Fort Lauderdale, FLorida! Got an apartment with a kitchen, and with a trip to the local grocery store, had food for most of the week! We picked up a package of lentils, bag of potatoes, some vegetables, oatmeal, fresh fruit, and Cranberry Walnut bread. We brought our own nuts, raisins, and Himalayan salt. We also had a vegan pizza one night from , and enjoyed dinner several nights at friends who made us vegan meals! Good food and good times!

My dream dumbbell set for my home gym! Notice that they have recessed hex-head screws in the ends so you could stand them up on your knees comfortably before kicking back for flat-bench work. So well-balanced and feel much better than hex dumbbells. I have used this style of professional dumbbells since the 1970s, and they are absolutely the best! On Ebay today!

I worked legs, calves, abs and forearms this evening. All day I was so tired and thought to myself how am I going work out; I even had a slight headache. I had no motivation at all to push myself through a hard workout; but after I got started and got deeper into it, I felt absolutely fantastic, had plenty of energy, and ended up enjoying pushing myself hard! Amazing how your mind an play tricks on you!

Lunch today made and plated for me by my wonderful wife Claudia (Means “Really Learn” in Portuguese - she is an ESL instructor for Brazilians)! Home-made pinto beans in a pressure cooker, brown rice, stir fried cabbage with minced garlic and onions, fresh tomatoes, some home-made tofu scrambler, and freshly roasted cashews. Lunch today made and plated for me by my wonderful daughter-in-law, .Gurtner! Penne pasta with almond Parmesan, lima beans sautéed with onions, garlic, and chopped tomatoes, cold beet salad with sweet potatoes, walnuts, and walnut oil dressing, and freshly roasted cashews. Absolutely delicious!! 😋 Thanks a million Rebeca!! 🙏
