𝐘𝐨𝐠𝐚 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐬.⁣

People think you need to be super-flexible, thin or wear a certain brand of leggings to begin a yoga practice. But of course, this is far from the truth. Yoga is so much more than the ability to perform physical ā𝘴𝘢𝘯𝘢 postures in spandex. ⁣
⁣
For me, the fundamentals of yoga begin with three things:⁣
⁣
1️⃣𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡.⁣
2️⃣𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬.⁣
3️⃣𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧. ⁣
⁣
With these three things, one can practice yoga in a studio, laying on the earth, walking on the beach, or even while washing the dishes. ⁣
⁣
Today, is my first day back teaching class in a new (to me) yoga studio post-partum. You can catch me all week getting back to the fundamentals as a teacher in Fallbrook.
