This will still take a bit of time to be available but it is progress.

The FDA approved epinephrine nasal spray (Neffy) for the emergency treatment of allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis, in adult and pediatric patients who weigh at least 30 kg.

Our office was recently notified that Auvi Q has begun phasing out shipments with ice packs for temperature control. Some shipments that have ice packs in them are arriving warm as well. Given these changes we are no longer comfortable prescribing Auvi Q and will fill other epinephrine options instead. It is our hope that Auvi Q will understand the impact on its patient base and resume safe practices. If you have any questions please email the practice manager at LMayer@theallergydoc.com.

Allergy & Asthma Institute will be closed on Wednesday the 22nd of February in anticipation of bad weather. All appointments will be contacted for scheduling and solution needs.

Happy New Year

We are in the process of transitioning to new internal software. Please be patient with us as we familiarize ourselves with the new formats.

Kiosk check in is temporally paused. You will need to check in with patient engagement. This will be replaced with an automated check in via mobile device.

Additional details will be published here and in office once the systems have been streamlined.
