All levels are welcome as you will be met where you are and provided with a practice tailored specifically to you. Her advanced level training specializes in trauma-informed, adaptive, and therapeutic yoga with an emphasis on the mind-body connection that has scientific research to support it. Leah teaches Hatha, vinyasa (flow), restorative, yin, power flow, therapeutic, adaptive, chair, guided meditation sessions or lessons on how to cultivate a home asana or meditation practice using many different meditation styles to discover which resonates best with you, pre and postnatal yoga, iRest yoga nidra (guided and didactic), sports enhancement or recovery sessions, peek-pose style practices such as inversion or arm balance focused classes, as well as energy-based practices. If you’re not ready for in-person yet or you’re out of this area, I can also do zoom sessions for individuals or groups. In-person sessions are available through the Fayetteville location of the Spring Lake Counseling Center, for all types of practices. If you are not ready to be in-person, live-stream Zoom private or group classes are available. Leah also has a degree in healthy lifestyle coaching and provides health coaching services that take a holistic approach. This means changing your relationship with food and finding a healthy lifestyle that works for you that gets you where you want to be physically and mentally. As a teacher's teacher, she is able to provide advanced training and give continuing education credits valid through Yoga Alliance. She is also a corporate contractor for companies looking to hold events on educating staff on mindfulness practices that increase wellness and provide a solid foundation for coping with current or future stressors that may arise. Leah also has experience with hosting and providing all materials and handouts for workshops on ayurvedic practices to include dosha work, mala making, chakra balancing, inversion workshops and other types of events.
