Held on Saturday, October 25, 2025 in Hope Mills

This year’s recipients were SFC Audrianna Overton-Peterson (top left) and Mr. Brian Stanley, who is currently batting cancer his family (top right) stood in on his behalf.🙏🏾

The photo on the top left captured a mini, 1st TSC (Theater Sustainment Command) reunion. As we all served together at FT Bragg, NC prior to 1st TSC moving to FT Knox. 🫡

The photo on the top right is of Mr. Stanley’s family and being that his lovely wife Nalani is from Hawaii you know we had to represent Aloha style 🤙🏾🥰

Special Thanks to Retired SGM Ruby Murray for throwing yet another successful event! I’m still sore from that EXCELLENT workout 🏋🏾‍♀️ 😁 It was honor for me to support this event as a Vendor knowing the proceeds went to a GREAT cause!!🙌🏾✨

5.11 Tactical & The United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) host these classes to the community every other month for free. It’s a way to not only educate our community but it also encourages participants to invest in their own protection.✨

How does one invest in their own protection?🤔

1. Get Trained.
2. Train Consistently.
3. Ensure that you have Concealed Carry Insurance.
4. Develop a plan. (Home Defense & Self Defense)
5. Always carry a First Aid Bag 💼

Those are just to name a few ways to invest into your protection.✨

I had the pleasure of meeting this gentleman a few years ago at a Gun Violence Awareness event in Hope Mills, NC. Fon Dockery was the Father of Jenisis Dockery ( beautiful baby girl on his T-Shirt) who unfortunately loss her life due to gun violence. Devrin is a fellow Army Veteran and Former Scout, so clearly he already knew how to shoot. Our session was more of Range Therapy than anything else!🤣

I personally enjoy shooting with fellow veterans as we typically share our experiences from the military and usually ends with some friendly competition.🙌🏾😝

One-on-One Coaching Session with Zari💕

Zari who’s a fellow Veteran, Mother and Future Realtor as she’s currently in Pre-Licensing for Real Estate decided to come train with yours truly.🫶🏾✨

During our Coaching Session we covered the basic fundamentals of shooting and some timed shooting drills at 15 feet. As you can see per the target below the objective was to not shoot the hostage (which I told Zari to pretend that the hostage was one of her children).

Zari did a great job at not shooting the hostage and for the few rounds that she missed we used as a teaching moment to ensure that every shot is accounted. Any shots missed equates to an innocent bystander.💯

Over our Coaching Session was Informative, Fun and most importantly Safe!☺️

When I retired from the United States Army back in 2017, shooting was simply a hobby for me. Then I turned my hobby into a business and I’ve been having FUN ever since. It brings me joy sharing my experiences and knowledge of fi****ms with others.

Disaster Readiness: Protecting Yourself & Your Family

This is Hurricane 🌀 Season and a natural disaster can occur anywhere/anytime. Are you and your loved ones prepared?🤔

Here are a few takeaways from our training session:
1. Ensure that you have a evacuation plan.

2. Chances are the cell towers will go down. Choose alternate ways to communicate with your loved ones.

3. Go over your home owners insurance policy in advance in the event of property damage/loss (Realtor side came out🤭).

4. Have personal protection (I.e., firearm with ammunition, baseball bat, taser) just in case.

5. Ensure your important documents are in a vacuum sealed envelope or safe to keep them protected from being damaged.
