When we decided to open a therapy office earlier this year, it was honestly terrifying. Leaving behind the solo practice Jason had built at home to move into an office on one of the busiest roads in Fayetteville felt like a huge leap of faith.

We searched high and low for the perfect building—touring sleek, modern spaces and traditional offices that reminded us of doctors’ suites. But the moment we walked into 2106, we just knew it was the one.

The building definitely needed some TLC, and for two months, Jason (mostly after work and on weekends), JT, and I rolled up our sleeves and got to work.
This project has truly been a labor of love. The building isn’t perfect, but it reflects the people who run the business and those who walk through its doors—imperfect, but full of heart.

I wish I had taken some “before” pictures, but here’s a little glimpse of what has now become Cape Fear Counseling & Associates, PLLC.
