To the Families and Friends of The Alexandre Centre:

As many of you know, The Alexandre Centre and I have recently become the focus of an aggressive campaign by the New York State Department of Health.

I want to be very clear: I founded this Centre to be a sanctuary for children and families who felt unheard by the medical system. My commitment to providing individualized, compassionate care and respecting parental rights has never wavered. Unfortunately, because I have refused to compromise on these principles, I am now facing significant legal challenges that threaten not only my ability to practice medicine but the future of this Centre.

This is not just a fight for my license; it is a fight for the right of every parent to make informed medical decisions for their children without fear of government retaliation.

I have attached a link below that explains the full story of what is happening—including the unprecedented actions taken against my practice and my own family—and where we currently stand in this battle.

Welcome Korey Fantacone, MS, OTR/L to our team!

Korey Fantacone, MS, OTR/L is an experienced and compassionate occupational therapist who earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Utica College in 2018. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health Sciences from SUNY Brockport. With several years of experience specializing in pediatric therapy, Korey has had the opportunity to work with children across a variety of settings, including schools and home environments.

Throughout her career, Korey has developed a deep commitment to creating client-centered interventions, collaborating closely with both children and their families to achieve meaningful goals. Her experience includes working with children on sensory processing, fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, and life skills development.

Korey is passionate about fostering an environment where children can thrive and reach their fullest potential. A native of Syracuse, NY, she currently resides in Liverpool with her family.

Join us at the Alexandre Centre for our Holiday Hoopla on Wednesday, Dec. 10 from 4:30 p.m.– 5:30 p.m. 🎄

This is a festive workshop for kids ages 6-10. Give your child an hour of movement, confidence, connection, and holiday magic. Kids will build real skills through playful story time and creativity.

The cost is $25 per family. You can sign up on our website under the "Classes & Events" tab. Proceeds from the event will be given back to We Rise Again, a local CNY charity.

Save the date! One of our local partners, Beacon Hill Farm, is hosting an Autumn Lantern Walk on Saturday, Nov. 15 from 4:45 p.m.-6:30 p.m. at their farm in Cato, NY.

The Autumn Lantern Walk is a walking meditation to celebrate the light within us. They will host lantern making workshops in the week leading up the event (or welcome folks to make their own at home and bring them!) The event is free, but they do welcome tax deductible donations to Signal Fires, the non profit that puts on all events at the farm.
