He's been dealing with migraines on a consistent basis for 2 years. He came in with one. Looked tired and sluggish. Told me he had to take off work because this one was "one of those." At the end of the service, he said his headache was completely gone. I do it for these types of situations. "If you love what you do, it will take care of you."

I had a client that has been dealing with chronic pain issues for 5 years. For clarity, she's a soldier. If you know, you know. It would be easier for me to tell you what was "NOT" hurting on her than what was. Her doctor had recommended dry needling, physical therapy and chiropractic care but none of it worked. Then he finally recommended that she went to a massage therapist. I told her from the consultation, my massage service was gonna change her life. She responded with doubt and sarcasm. I couldn't blame her after everything else had failed. I just smiled as a reply. After the service she told me she didn't like me. 😏 The service wasn't what she expected. I guess she was use to the feather touch, put some lotion on you and send you on your way service. But I attacked problem areas with the goal of changing her life. After her, "I don't like you" response, she told me the name that her family and friends call her. She smiled and said, "I guess you can call me that." As she stood at the entrance to my room, she became silent, and I could see in her face that she was fighting tears. Then she said, "I'm trying not to cry. I didn't expect to feel this good. I thought I would have to deal that level of pain forever. Thank you!" The same way I responded with a smile after her sarcasm, I responded with a smile as a "you're welcome."

The moral of the story is, muscle pains (chronic or acute) isn't a thing you have to live with for the rest of your life. Solid "knowledgeable" massage services can make your daily living so much better. If you don't believe me, give it a shot!
