Verbesina virginica, dried, stemed and ready to store.
It has quite a few medicinal uses, currently my favorite is adding it to my herbal smoke mix which consists of lavender, chamomile, mullein and verbesina. I am over a month no to***co, having mixed to***co with this blend and slowely decreased the to***co content down to none.

Young blackberry leaves being prepped for curing into tea. The curing increases the tannin content and health benifits. I find that sometimes what I read about herbal preparation online is wildly inacurate. In this case, no matter how many articles claim you can "pick the young leaves with no thorns" the reality is, the leaves form and unfold already thorned. 😆
