Hey everyone! I'm super excited to be coming back to work on Monday! Yay!!! I have missed all of my clients so very much! There will be a few changes in the office that I need to go over.
Obviously Covid-19 has changed a lot of the way we are doing things these days, and that goes the same for massage. I have always worn a mask anytime I felt I may have been exposed to sickness or, in general, to protect some of my immune compromised clients. I will now be wearing one the entire time I'm in the office. I am asking that all clients please wear one when you are standing in the office or laying face up while on the table.
I have always washed my hands and arms, and will obviously continue to do that. I also wear my watch while working. I will wipe that down with Isopropyl Alcohol between each client. There is, obviously, a sink available for anyone to wash their hands, and I have put out hand sanitizer as well.
I will completely wipe down all surfaces that have been touched in the office between each client, and there is a cleaning person that cleans the entire office every week.
I'm asking that all clients wait in their car until I come to the door to get them. Please text when you arrive so I know that you have arrived. Please do not bring extra people with you to wait in the lobby.
I'm also asking that if you feel sick or have a temperature to please not come for a massage. I can always reschedule you. Also, with that in mind, please try your best to give me a 24 hour notice.
I have been reaching out to my clients to get everyone rescheduled. This has been a challenge because I can't physically jump right back into my old schedule. I will not hurt my body like that, so I am easing back into it. Please be patient with me.
I had a lot of scheduling to do and hopefully I didn't miss anyone. Please, please reach out to me if you haven't heard from me yet. It's been kinda crazy.
One last big thing, you will notice that Susan is no longer in the office with me. That was a personal choice for her to leave massage for the time being. Hopefully, she will be back at it eventually. Her talent is just too good to not be used. Her presence in the office will be missed. You will now be seeing a new face in the office where she once was. Stay tuned for more details.
Big massive virtual hugs!!!!
Rachel
