🎄💚 Breakfast with the Grinch & Toy Drive 💚🎄

Saturday morning was truly one for the books! Our families gathered for Breakfast with the Grinch, where our children laughed, played, and spent special time with the Grinch himself ✨

From sharing breakfast with their families to opening gifts from Santa, every moment was filled with joy, love, and holiday magic.

Events like this remind us how important community and parent engagement are. When families come together, it strengthens our children, our center, and the village it takes to raise them. Thank you to everyone who donated toys, showed up, and helped make this event so special for our kids.

We’re proud to create meaningful moments that bring families together—because here, we’re more than a childcare center, we’re a community ❤️🎄

Our students laced up their skates and hit the rink — and yes, even roller skating connects to STEM learning! 🤓

As our students skated, they explored:
🔹 Science — balance, motion, and how the body adjusts to stay upright
🔹 Technology — how skate design helps support movement
🔹 Engineering — wheels, bearings, and how friction affects speed
🔹 Math — counting laps, timing races, and comparing distances

What seems like a fun outing is actually a hands-on lesson in physics, problem-solving, and confidence building. STEM isn’t just in the classroom — it’s everywhere!

Thank you SO much to everyone who signed up — we are truly grateful for the amazing and unexpected responses. Spots filled up quicker than we could have imagined, and we appreciate every single participant who showed love to this event.

IMPORTANT REMINDER 💚:

Position: After-School Teacher

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM–6:00 PM during the school year

Full-day shifts on out-of-school days (Fall Break, Winter Break, Summer Break, and all district closure days)

About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated After-School Teacher to support and enrich the learning of K–5th grade students in our licensed childcare and enrichment program. This role is perfect for educators who love helping children grow academically, socially, and emotionally in a structured, high-quality environment.

Responsibilities:
- Lead engaging, age-appropriate planned enrichment lessons
- Provide homework help and 1:1 tutoring to reinforce reading, math, and study skills
- Support a safe, positive, and encouraging classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with staff, students, and families
- Assist with activities, behavior management, and daily routines
- Implement program curriculum with fidelity and enthusiasm

Requirements:
- Degree in Education, Child Development, or related field required
- Teaching background or relevant instructional experience (classroom, tutoring, after-school programs, etc.)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for youth development and academic enrichment
- Must pass a comprehensive background check

Pay:
$17–$20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
