The power of Juniper Berries🌳🫐

According to the book The Energetics of Western Herbalism, Juniper 'promotes menstruation, enhances labor and delivery, and relieves pain'

Juniper's warming, stimulating and drying qualities help move stagnation and tonify the stomache, intestines, bladder, kidneys, muscles, uterus and skin.

Juniper should only be taken for a week or two maximum.

It is important to assess your constitution and the quality of your symptoms before working with Juniper. If you have a dry, hot condition this is not the remedy for you.

Ps. I like to place juniper on my altar and tuck a couple berries in my pockets for protection. ✨️

Embracing the Change: A Menopause Workshop for Women of All Ages

Menopause is promised to all of us.
When we prepare for this time and approach it as a natural initiation into the later phase of womanhood, we invite greater ease, support, and grace into the process.

What is not promised is how it will look or feel like for each of us. Together, in community, we will learn and explore what perimenopause/menopause really means for us and how we can prepare for the unknowns that accompany this transition.

 In this workshop, we will:

Start with a Somatic landing practice to explore our sensations and feelings around menopause from our current paradigm as well as the wise women way. Followed by journaling.

Discuss the symbolism of menopause as an initiation into our last phase of womanhood, the crone or wise women stage, while reshaping our mindset around how we view these changes and explore what they are asking of us.

Discuss symptoms that you may experience during perimenopause/menopause and herbs that may help you experience more ease as your body changes.

My focus in this workshop is to really open the conversation and begin to feel into how powerful this time is for woman as an initiation into wisdom and wholeness, rather than a time to fear or wish away. When we can understand that as our bodies change, our souls are evolving and requiring different things from us, we can honor ourselves more fully.
