Due to the Hancock County Level 2 Snow Emergency, myVoice Speech Therapy will be closed today, January 19th, for all in-person therapy sessions.

Today, 6 fully funded devices arrived.

Six.

That means six families now have access to dedicated communication tools.
Six individuals now have a more reliable way to share their thoughts, needs, humor, opinions-their voice.

Most people feel a little dread heading back to work after a long holiday break. Today, I felt the opposite. I felt incredibly grateful. Grateful that I get to work in a field that matters. Grateful for the families who trust me with something as personal as communication. Grateful that this is what I get to call my job.

Owning a private practice absolutely comes with more paperwork, more hurdles, and about 100x more red tape-but days like today are a reminder that it’s all worth it. Every form, every phone call, every appeal leads to moments like this.

I love what I do. I love this field. And I am endlessly thankful for the families who allow me to be part of their journey. 💛
