🎃👻 Our residents had a spook-tacular time at our Halloween Social! Everyone enjoyed great music, tasty snacks, and lots of laughs. The highlight of the day was seeing our staff join in the fun, dressing up in creative costumes and spreading smiles throughout the building! 🧁🎶🕸️

🌟 Resident Spotlight: Mr. James Barfield 🌟

Mr. Barfield joined us on July 5th, 2025, following a lumbar fracture and began his therapy journey with determination and heart. After initially discharging using a wheelchair, he told our team, “I need to get out of this chair.” 💪

With the help of our Occupational and Physical Therapy teams — and plenty of hard work — Mr. Barfield returned to therapy to keep progressing. Today, he can walk short distances without any adaptive equipment and up to 200 feet with a walker! 🙌

When recognized for his success, Mr. Barfield humbly said, “I don’t feel right about being recognized.” But we think his story deserves to be celebrated!

We’re so proud of your progress, Mr. Barfield — your determination inspires us all. 💙
