Boundaries aren’t about pushing people away — they’re about protecting what’s been entrusted to you.
In therapy, we talk about boundaries as limits that guard your emotional energy, clarify expectations, and help you stay connected without becoming overwhelmed.
But the Bible knew this long before it was clinical language.
Scripture speaks of ancient boundary stones — physical markers that protected a family’s identity, inheritance, and God-given territory.
To move them wasn’t just rude…
it was injustice.
The same wisdom applies to our emotional and spiritual lives.
When our boundaries blur, we lose clarity, peace, and purpose.
When they stand, we can love others without abandoning ourselves — or the ground God has given us to steward.
You are allowed to guard your portion.
You are free to say yes with intention and no without guilt.
Healthy boundaries are sacred stewardship — ancient wisdom that still protects us today.
