Thoughts → Feelings → Beliefs → Behavior
Our thoughts literally affect our hormones, which affects how our bodies respond.
✨This matters so much in birth.✨
If we’re feeling fear or anxiety, our body shifts into stress hormones instead of the hormones that actually support labor.
✨This matters so much in postpartum.✨
Oxytocin is key for milk flow, and it flows best when we feel calm, safe, and relaxed (not when we’re stressed!)
In HypnoBirthing, you learn how to work *with* your body instead of against it.
You’ll practice relaxation and deepening techniques that help you stay connected to your body and your baby during labor.
You’ll use these tools even into postpartum too.
They help with co-regulation, feeding, and just feeling more grounded in those early weeks.
Self-hypnosis is really just learning how to guide your mind into a state where your body can respond in a more supportive, physiological way.
