1- Collection and distribution of baseball/softball equipment in Nicaragua. a) Working for a dream academy
b)MLB-RBI program experience of opportunities
c) Major League contracts

2- Collection and distribution of medical equipment and supplies. a) Distribution of medical equipment in community clinics
b) Development of medical Mission in community areas
c) Delivery of medicines and medical attention for elderly homes
d) Delivery of 130,000 fortified food packages a year. e) HIV assistance Program
f) Domiciliar palliative care assistance

3- Assistance in developing sustainable agricultural projects and practices. a) Insure water system by providing well excavation and installation of irrigation systems
b) Delivery of global kits ( seeds, chemical , fertilizer and protection suits )
c) Chicken Sheds to provide lying hens, veterinary assistance and high quality chicken feed to insure the protein intake of the kids of the rural areas. d) Continuos educacional assistance with veterinaries and agronomist.

4- Provide quality education and life opportunities to the youth in Nicaragua. a) Scholarship Programs
b) Assistance in day cares that provide complete assistance to the families of the communities by providing high quality education and 3 meals a day from 7am to 7pm. c) Woman empowerment workshops and psychologic attention.

For years, HKRF has been working hand in hand with farming families, teaching new techniques, providing tools, and helping communities grow more food than ever before.

Today, farmers are harvesting year-round, feeding their families consistently, and building sustainable livelihoods for the future.

This is the power of knowledge, support, and community resilience. 🌾

During the first season farmers harvest corn, but in this second production season, they are focused on bean cultivation.

Thanks to the continued accompaniment of Scott Ramsdell, along with the support of the Lutheran Church and local agronomists, farmers have been able to significantly improve productivity this year. The early results already show strong progress.

📈 This year’s improvements include yield increases of up to 83% in beans and 128% in corn under rain-fed systems, while irrigated systems have achieved remarkable gains of 300% to 380% in corn production.

These results reflect the impact of technical guidance, collaboration, and perseverance laying the foundation for more resilient farming families and communities. 🌾💚

This month, our preschool students at Belén Garden proudly celebrated their graduation in Rivas, Nicaragua. Dressed in their caps and gowns, they smiled with confidence as they prepared to take their next big step into primary school.

Each child leaves preschool with new skills, big dreams, and a strong foundation for learning. Moments like these remind us that education opens doors and that every journey begins with opportunity and hope. 💛
