Our Executive Director recently joined a roundtable discussion with Congresswoman Kristen McDonald Rivet to share insights on how upcoming changes to healthcare funding could impact our community. The end of enhanced tax credits and proposed Medicaid cuts may leave more than 32,000 Mid-Michigan residents, including many individuals with disabilities, without health coverage. We’re committed to ensuring that everyone in our community has access to the care and support they need.

FLINT, Mich.Health care costs are on the rise, and changes at the federal level could result in thousands of mid-Michigan residents losing their insurance cover

In 2019, more than 650,000 Michiganders with disabilities lived in poverty, struggling every day to meet basic needs such as food, housing, and transportation.
