Team Nickolas

Team Nickolas Nickolas Dansby was diagnosed with leukemia. Nickolas was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 4 on November 2013. Every 2 weeks he has count check.

Nickolas has been in remission since December 2013. He still has to receive chemo treatments until January 2017. He currently is in the maintence phase of chemo. He has a spinal with chemo every 12 weeks along with IV chemo. He has a port flush and a doctor exam every 4 weeks. Nickolas loves his nurses & doctors at the clinic. Hurely is a wonderful. Nickolas has to repeat Kindergarten due missing a lot of school last year due to being ill. He so far has been healthy. Nickolas still loves going to school. He is doing very well!!

Check up went great!! Nickolas doesn't have to go back for a year!! Don't have results of echocardiogram yet. Probably next week. He is doing good and looks great!!

Today Nickolas had his 4 month check up at chemo clinic. His appointment went great. His iron numbers went up so he doesn't have to take iron anymore. He is 5 foot 1 inch. He has a 6 month check up in December. He will need to have an echocardiogram to check his heart. He is doing great. He is playing baseball & enjoying it.

Nick's appointment went great. Still watching him hemoglobin levels. They are better then in October. He still needs to take iron tablets. He has 1 more 4 month check up. Then we go to every 6 months.
Nick has also been diagnosed with A.D.D. He started medicine in January. It seems to be helping. His next appointment at Chemo clinic is June 16th 2021.

Update on Nick:

He is doing good. Numbers are good. He does have low iron. He is being put on an iron supplement. He needs to eat more food that has iron & less dairy products.
He has a check up in 4 months.

Nickolas had his 3 month check up at oncology clinic today. Every thing is good. Counts are great. He will be seen in 3 months. February is his next appointment. After that he will be seen every 4 - 6 months depending on what they decide.

Nick had a good check up today. His counts are good. Doctor says he looks great. His next appointment is in November.
