“Hi, I’m Lisa! I have been in EMS for 9 years. I am part of 2 Volunteer Fire Departments. Anderson Volunteer Fire and Rogersville Volunteer Fire Department.
The most rewarding part of my career is caring for people and saving lives in my community. I love that my job is something different on every single call from just comforting a patient to saving the trauma patients.

I didn’t grow up with the mindset of going into EMS, but I joined a volunteer fire department and fell in love with it!The most rewarding part of the job is getting to meet so many different people in all walks of life, but my favorites are the older generations! They have the best stories and advice.”
