During the recent winter weather, our community witnessed the unwavering dedication of our first responders, both paid and volunteer. While hazardous conditions impacted travel and daily life, these professionals continued to serve without hesitation, ensuring the safety and well being of those who needed help most.

We extend our sincere gratitude to every EMT, AEMT, paramedic, firefighter, law enforcement officer, dispatcher, EMA, and volunteer who worked long hours in challenging and often dangerous conditions. Your professionalism, commitment to service, and willingness to place others before yourselves are deeply appreciated and do not go unnoticed.

We invite members of our community to join us in recognizing these individuals. We have had many interested in our 2026 Training Schedule this year. We welcome anyone to attend our trainings for free CEUs. We enjoy offering education to the community at cost for the training and are encouraged to see so many willing to learn. All classes are from 9am-5pm listed below (All AHA certifying classes require students to pay for the card to receive AHA certification).

All classes are held at our on-site training facility at: 527 N Broadway St Florence, AL 35630.

If you are interested in coming to a class we ask you pull to the Parking Lot in the back, and the door to the parking lot is to our training facility.

If you are a local department or agency, we also offer traveling Education Boards. Each board covers its own topic and requires a test after you review the board. For more information or to schedule our traveling boards send us a message.

A great first day for our stuff an Ambulance toy drive! If you didn't make it out to Lowes parking Lot today off Florence blvd you still have time! Come see us tomorrow 9 to 2 and help us stuff our ambulance full of toys and make a kid’s Christmas Merry. A special thank you to Lowes for letting us use their parking lot and Super Buys. For anyone wanting to donate a toy, you may purchase one at Super Buys on Cox creek pkwy at a discount and at the conclusion of tomorrow they will bring them all over to the ambulance.

Thank you all for sharing and registering for our 2026 EMT-B course this year. In less than 12 hours our program reached its capacity for the course and the post was shared 50 times with positive comments on the course. We are excited for the communities will to assist the operation in raising the level of care in Lauderdale County. If you are still interested in attending the program you may continue to register and you will be placed on a wait list in the event a seat becomes available while we evaluate the communities interest in the program and plan future courses. As we reflect on our time in Lauderdale County we are both humble and thankful for Lauderdale County and those that live in the County. Thank you for accepting us into the community.
