It still makes me smile when people stop me and say something about my hair. Honestly, it happens a lot now… sometimes multiple times a day. And I won’t lie — it feels a little vindicating. 😄
For YEARS people told me I shouldn’t stop coloring my hair.
But what most people didn’t see was the cycle I was stuck in… coloring every six weeks like clockwork. The minute it would grow out, those gray roots would show and I’d feel self-conscious all over again. It was frustrating, expensive, and honestly kind of exhausting.
Two years ago I finally said… I’m done.
I stopped coloring my hair.
And something interesting happened along the way. My hair didn’t just grow out — it got healthier. Stronger. Shinier. Thicker. And now I get more compliments than I ever did before.
Part of that change for me has been focusing on what I’m putting in my body, not just what I’m putting on it. Adding collagen daily has made such a difference for my hair, skin, and nails — and it’s one of those things I didn’t realize I was missing until I started seeing the results.
