37. Mom of boys.
Running on coffee, chaos, and trying to get my life together 🫠

So we’re starting simple—
collagen in the coffee, froth, and go ☕✨

That’s the routine. That’s the win for today.

Because some seasons aren’t about perfection…
they’re about doing what you can and showing up anyway 🤍

If you want in on the easy stuff, message me 💬

used to quit on myself… a lot.

Start. Stop. Repeat.

But this time? I kept going.

And now I get it—
you won’t care how long it took…
you’ll just be thankful you didn’t quit 🤍

I’m not where I want to be yet,
but I’m not where I started.

✨ If you’re still showing up for yourself, drop a “I’m not quitting” below

“Context and memory play powerful roles in all the truly great meals in one’s life.”
— Anthony Bourdain

Memories are held in a meal…
in a flavor, in a smell—
and I hold onto that.

Food was never just food growing up.
It was connection. It was culture. It was comfort.

For a long time, I lost that.
Food became something I used… instead of something I respected.

But now, I find comfort in cooking again.
In the colors, the textures, the flavors coming together—
not just to fill a plate, but to nourish and bring people together.

Not perfect… but intentional.

And that means everything 🤍

My kids don’t do bland… and honestly, neither do I 💚

If you’ve ever eaten at my table, you already know—there’s always flavor, color, and something a little different going on.

I grew up with Greek and Puerto Rican grandparents, so food was never just food. It had depth, culture, and a whole lot of love behind it.
That’s something I refuse to lose, even living in a small town.

Tonight’s dinner is a pasta dish inspired by my Latin roots 🇵🇷
Sofrito is the base—something I always have on hand. And no, I don’t measure… every batch turns out a little different, and that’s exactly how it should be.

I want my boys to grow up knowing real flavor, trying new things, and understanding there’s a whole world beyond what’s “normal” around here.

Because being well-rounded doesn’t stop at school or sports… it starts at home too.

What’s one dish you’ll never stop making because it reminds you of where you came from? 🔥

As this month comes to an end, I’m finding myself reflecting.

My parents were teenagers when they had me, and because of that, I was lucky enough to be surrounded by some incredibly strong women. My aunts and grandmothers weren’t just part of my life—they helped shape me.

I see them in so many parts of my life… in the way I cook, the music I love, my sense of style, and even in how I raise my boys. Pieces of them live in me every single day.

Lately, I’ve been thinking about the little moments I didn’t realize were so big at the time—the time spent in kitchens, the conversations, the laughter, just being together.

Some people don’t just come into your life—they become a part of who you are.

And sometimes life has a way of reminding you just how much that means 🤍

Just a reminder for anyone overthinking every move lately…

You do not need approval from people who aren’t even doing better than you.

Stay focused. Stay grounded. Keep going.

Things people ignore during weight loss… that actually matter:

Everyone talks about workouts and calories…
but no one talks about this stuff:

• Avoiding mirrors
• Wearing the same stretched out clothes for years
• Not buying underwear because nothing feels right
• Buying what I thought was oversized clothing only for it to be tight
• Not realizing how uncomfortable you’ve been in your own body

I did all of this.

And honestly…
one of the biggest changes for me wasn’t the scale.

It was finally feeling comfortable in things I avoided for YEARS.

That’s the stuff no one talks about.

What’s something you avoided that you didn’t even realize until later?

Between sport schedules, meals, and everything in between…
this is what “working on me” looks like right now.

Not perfect. Not fancy. Just consistent.

Little habits.
Better choices.
Showing up anyway.

If you’ve been thinking about starting something for YOU… this is your sign 💛
Message me and I’ll share what I’m doing

POV: you almost didn’t go… but you did anyway 💪

Not the longest workout.
Not the hardest.
But I showed up—and that counts.

Who else is in their “just show up” era? 🙋‍♀️

If I could go back 5 years…
this is exactly what I’d do differently.

I wouldn’t start over with some extreme plan.
I wouldn’t cut everything out or try to be perfect.

I’d focus on the basics—
the things that actually make a difference but no one really teaches you.

Simple things.
Doable things.
The kind of things that fit into real life…
because let’s be honest, we’re busy.

As a mom, I didn’t need more pressure—
I needed something that actually worked with my life.

And once I figured that out… everything started to feel different.
More energy.
Less overwhelm.
More confidence in my own skin.

I’m putting together something simple with everything I wish I knew sooner—
nothing crazy, just what actually works.

If you want it when it’s ready,
comment “guide” or message me 🤍
