Did you know that su***de rates are nearly 4x higher in men aged 75+ than in women of the same age? And that 23% of men over 75 live alone, often facing loneliness, depression, and declining physical health without support?

Meanwhile, over 40% of men 65+ have high blood pressure, and many are at increased risk for heart disease, stroke, and prostate cancer. Yet, men are less likely to seek help or attend regular checkups.

This November, let’s break the silence 💛

Encourage the senior men in your life to prioritize their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Support can be as simple as a walk together, a check-in call, or helping them schedule a screening.

Health is strength. Connection is care.

Three years ago, Jessica walked into our office as an employee referral, and she was in a totally different place in her life. She was being hired as a caregiver.

Her journey has been one of growth! She attended leadership classes at Gateway and has become a certified Dementia Coach.

She is our amazing Care Manager, managing care plans and mentoring our care team.

I am so proud of Jessica! She has an amazing testimony, and I share it a lot! Her story isn't over yet!

💰 Make a donation to a charity with meaning to you
🫶 Say a kind word of support to someone who is struggling
