I did a thing today... I went to the fair! Not only did I go to the fair, but I purchased a wristband for unlimited rides, AND I got on as many rides as I could!! To some it may sound like such a weird thing to be excited about but, I haven’t been on an amusement ride in about 15 years. At that time, the security bars on the rides couldn’t close because my chest was too big. I was too big. But I did it today! I got on rides with my son & nephew and as nauseated as it made me, I HAD A BLAST!!! 🤗 We even got on the Ferris wheel. The three of us in one pod!!! 😁

I needed a fitness incentive. Bc my friends fake want to workout with me , I thought to myself, “If you get some over the ear headphones, you can really workout by yourself, & have a reason to ignore people.” I ordered these on Thursday!!

The other day I put on size 20 jeans that I had to wiggle into. Then the next day I slipped right into the size 14’s in this picture. 🤷🏾‍♀️ It’s so easy to get consumed by the numbers. But don’t let the numbers drive you crazy. Just give your best! When you feel like you can do better, do better. My journey isn’t like anyone else’s and I’m only in competition with myself. 💪🏾

It’s hard to believe that this was 7 years ago. Sometimes I would look in the mirror and felt like, I looked like this. But seeing this picture today has made me realize... AIN’T NO WAY!! I definitely have to give myself more credit for the hard work I put in. 💪🏾
