Hey Family! Our shelves at Hosea House are nearly empty, and this weekend we are asking our community to help us restock them. Every can, every box, and every jar makes a real difference for neighbors who rely on us for daily meals.

Join us at Kroger at the Newport Pavilion on Saturday, November 22 from 10 AM to 3 PM. Pick up a few items from our shopping list and drop them off with our team. If you cannot make it in person, you can use the QR code to support the pantry through an online donation.
Shopping List
• Canned meats and tuna
• Peanut butter and jelly
• Pasta and sauce
• Cereal and oatmeal
• Canned vegetables and fruit
• Soup, rice, and beans
• Shelf stable milk and juice
You may also drop off items at Hosea House, 901 York Street, Newport, Kentucky.
Help keep our shelves full so no neighbor has to wonder where their next meal will come from.

🥕 The pots are simmering. The ovens are full. The kitchen smells like hope.
Every year, Hosea House prepares hundreds of Thanksgiving meals for neighbors who might otherwise spend the holiday hungry or alone.
Your generosity makes that possible. 💛

If you’re thankful for what’s on your table this year, help us fill someone else’s.
Because gratitude tastes best when it’s shared.

The team presented at The Recovery Summit this week on Innovative Approaches to Recovery and Reentry. Poverty is not caused by one barrier but by a web of challenges including limited education, financial instability, a lack of life skills, etc. These barriers reinforce each other. Real change happens when these issues are addressed together. Life Learning Center provides life skills training, care resources and comprehensive workforce reentry programs that turn growth into action. The result is lasting self-sufficiency that strengthens families, communities, and the economy.

Thank you, Mike and Tara, for representing Life Learning Center and the transformational work we do every day.

We know many in our community are feeling the strain right now. With recent changes to SNAP benefits, more Kenton County families are facing tough choices at the grocery store. If you or someone you know is struggling to keep food on the table, you are not alone — and there are local resources ready to help.

Several food pantries and community programs across Kenton County provide groceries, hot meals and other essentials for individuals and families in need. Whether you need short-term help or ongoing support, these organizations are here for you.

For a look at regional resources, the United Way of Greater Cincinnati offers an online searchable database of agencies across Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati that provide food and grocery assistance. There you'll also able to learn more about each of the food pantries below, including their houses of operation. 🔗bit.ly/UnitedWayResources
