The Power of One

Our story begins with the musings of one author; reveries each reader is welcome to ponder at their leisure. The underlying topic involves the Journey of Life, for as most of us know and agree, life is indeed, a Journey. During an individual’s Journey, they solely possess the decision to survive or thrive, the ability to choose what actions to take lies within each person, it is theirs alone to decide. This is also referred to as the Universal Paradox: You are free to choose, but you are not free from the consequence of your choice. Quite a thought provoking transition to begin a biographical look into one such Journey.

Given the proper background knowledge provided above, we begin the true story entitled, The Power of One.

There is a woman I know, a woman who has faced hardships and overcome them to the point her energy is almost tangible. Her strength of character is not known to all, but to those who know her, it is impossible not to see. Very few people understand what obstacles she has faced, only to spin them into a complete metamorphosis, altering them to serve as stepping stones throughout her Journey. The stepping stones she created have allowed her to face challenges under which other people would crumble, but not her. She harnessed her power to gain knowledge about alternative and holistic medicine to change the lives of so many through her dedication, knowledge, and practice. She has made innumerable positive changes in other people’s lives, she has saved lives, and strives to help others every day.

The Power of One - is immeasurable.

This woman, as many of you may already know, is enrG-IV’s Owner & RN, Janet Baker.

More information on Janet:

Janet Baker is a Registered Nurse who specializes in Functional Medicine and Weight Management. Additionally, Janet stays apprised of any breaking information regarding Functional Medicine, Vitamin IV Infusions, supplements, as well as the role nutrition and genetics play in improving both a patient’s life as well as their longevity.

Janet has been in the medical field since 1995. She began her career in nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital, where she worked in the Intensive Care units. Later on, she worked at St. Vincent’s East as a charge nurse in Orthopedics; however, her most challenging role as a nurse was yet to come. Janet’s life and career were destined to be challenged in an unparalleled manner when she assumed the role of health-care provider for her father, when he was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 81. Given her father’s age, she realized it was imperative that she seek answers outside of traditional medicine if she was to achieve her goal, which was to help her father continue to live his life without pain or surgery.

Janet’s journey led her to the path least traveled. That is, she has worked in Integrative and Functional Medicine for the last 9 years. She has a passion for improving metabolism naturally and helping the body to heal with the nutrients it requires. Outside of helping people achieve optimum health, her current interests lie in networking and collaborating with like-minded practitioners to promote the practice of functional medicine in the Gulf Coast area.

Janet Baker brought the healing powers of Functional Medicine and IV Vitamin infusions to Orange Beach, AL, where she has been able to reach out and help heal many people.
