Last night I had the honor of guiding a partner yoga session for a couple celebrating their 9th anniversary. From the moment they walked in, I could feel how much they cared for one another, even through a little stress and tension from the day. 🤍
We started slowly, letting the pace be set by what they needed in that moment. She was so encouraging, so steady. He was nervous at first, but open, willing, and present in the ways that mattered most. As they moved and breathed together, you could feel the shift… softening, support, sweetness. 🤍
Before Savasana, I invited them to sit face to face, hands over each other’s hearts, while I read the Loving-Kindness prayer. The love between them was truly palpable. 🤍
It’s hard to put into words how grateful I am to have been trusted with this part of their anniversary. Sharing space with people in such an intimate, vulnerable, beautiful way is one of the greatest gifts of teaching yoga.

Happy 9th anniversary to these two very sweet, very amazing souls. 🤍

Welcome to Body Acceptance December.
This month, we anchor into one simple truth:

✨ I am worthy in the body I have today. ✨

You only get one body in this lifetime. One vessel, one home. And spending that entire lifetime disliking yourself because of your size or shape isn’t living, it’s surviving. Sometimes it’s barely that.

Disliking your body is exhausting.
For your mind.
For your spirit.
For your nervous system.
For the very body you’re fighting with.

The truth is: bodies are meant to come in all shapes and sizes.
And while I’d love to say we aren’t prized animals being paraded around and judged for our conformation and size… society has somehow made that exact thing acceptable.

So let me say this clearly:
Your body is beautiful, valuable, and worthy exactly as it is right now.

This body, the only one you will ever have, has carried you from your very first breath to this very moment. It will carry you until your last. That alone is worth honoring.

Let this be a month of celebration.
A month of gratitude.
A month of rediscovering kindness toward the home you live in.

And let this also be the month you decide that when the New Year rolls around and those tired “New Year, New Me” and weight-loss resolutions start creeping in… you choose differently.

Instead of “lose weight,” you choose:
✨ Be kind to my body through mindful movement.
✨ Move because I care for myself, not because I need to change myself.

Yoga and Pilates are two of the most mindful ways we can honor the bodies we live in.

This month, I want to help you remember:
💚 Your body is wonderful the way it is.
💚 You are allowed to love yourself now.
💚 You deserve a movement practice that celebrates you, not punishes you.

Hey, I’m Jennifer. ✨
It’s been a while, so I wanted to reintroduce myself, especially for those who’ve joined this little corner of the internet recently.

Yoga found me in a season when everything felt heavy. Panic attacks, trauma, and rebuilding myself from the inside out, and all of it shaped the way I show up now. Yoga taught me how to breathe again, how to listen, how to soften, and how to feel safe in my own body, a plus-size, neurospicy, beautifully imperfect body that I’m still learning to love.

Now I get to share those tools with others who need grounding, compassion, and a practice that honors real bodies and real nervous systems.
If you’re here for accessible movement, mindful pauses, and a space where you never have to shrink yourself and I’m grateful you’re here. 💚

I took some time off from Facebook.
If I posted to my IG it cross posted here but I haven't opened Facebook to read any notifications, reply to any comments or provide any interaction for quite some time. Quite frankly it's because it was overwhelming and not fun. I needed to protect my peace, it was nothing personal. I do appreciate each of you for sticking around and waiting for my return. ❤️
It will be a SLOW process back into it, with more intention on reaching my desired audience over growing for the sake of growing.

I’m so excited to share that I won a pair of Tucketts Allegro Pilates Socks in Lavender Haze — and I’m officially obsessed! 💜🧦
The grip is unbelievable. I used them for a home yogalates session and felt so supported and steady with every movement. I can’t wait to wear them at the studio too.
I’ll be honest… I wasn’t sure about the open-toe style at first. I thought it might feel weird to practice in, but after a few moments of adjusting, I absolutely loved it. Having my toes free instead of restricted like in traditional socks actually helped elevate my practice. More grounding, more control, more connection.
Tucketts are officially my new go-to yoga + Pilates socks. 🙌

Lotus is the culmination of this journey —
a blooming born from the mud.

This pose invites me to sit with everything I’ve lived through —
the joy, the heartbreak, the lessons, the rebuilding —
and offer gratitude for all of it.
Not because everything was easy,
but because everything shaped me.

Grounded in my breath,
rooted in my truth,
open in my heart,
balanced in my being,
and released from what once held me back —
I can finally say:

I’m grateful for the person I am today.
Not in spite of what I’ve lived through,
but because of it.

Lotus is my reminder that healing isn’t linear,
grief isn’t a weakness,
and growth is always possible…
even in the darkest places.

Today, I sit in the fullness of myself.
Grateful. Grounded. Blooming.

Malasana always feels like a gentle exhale —
a soft, grounded reminder that not everything is meant to be carried forever.

This pose asks me to fold into myself,
to listen,
to let go of what no longer serves me…
even if letting go feels messy or bittersweet.

I’ve had seasons that fractured me,
moments that brought me to my knees —
physically, emotionally, spiritually.
But even those seasons held purpose.

Being grounded in gratitude means I can honor what those experiences taught me,
while still releasing their weight from my body.

Today, I bow to every version of myself who kept going
and gently unclench my hands
so something new can take root.

Life is a dance — not always graceful, not always easy,
but always asking us to trust ourselves a little more.

Dancer reminds me that balance isn’t about perfection.
It’s about the wobble, the recalibration, the willingness to try again.
It’s about grounding so deeply into who you are
that you can lean into joy without fear of falling.

Gratitude, for me, is the same.
It’s a practice of noticing the beauty tucked into the in-between spaces —
in the mess, the uncertainty, the quiet triumphs.

When I lift my leg and reach my arm forward,
I’m saying:
I trust myself.
I trust the ground beneath me.
I trust the season I’m in.

And in that trust, joy finds room to bloom.

Mountain taught me to stand strong.
Open-hearted Mountain teaches me to soften.

Opening my chest isn’t always easy. After everything I’ve lived through,
vulnerability sometimes feels like exposure — like opening a door I’ve kept locked for years.

But grounding helps me stay steady while I open.
Mindfulness helps me stay present while I feel.
When I lift my heart, I’m reminding myself that life can still be beautiful
and that I deserve to experience it fully —
as if it’s the first time, each time.

Today, gratitude feels like a deep inhale:
steady legs, soft shoulders, and a willingness to notice the glimmers that surround me.
This is my practice — being both rooted and open.
