Good news!
I am now full-time in my private office, having left my part-time gig at a health club just this week. That means more time for you! I'm excited to be focusing on my private practice, and look forward to working with you!
Also, masks are no longer required if you are fully vaccinated. Yay! Don't hesitate to let me know if you have questions or concerns. I am always happy to use a mask should you request that.

Cheers!
Sarah

In this issue, learn some simple exercises to use your breath as a healing tool. These exercises are things you can incorporate into a daily routine, or when life gets a little extra stressful. This issue also discusses how massage can be used to help calm dementia patients, how things might look or feel different coming back to your first massage or bodywork session after the pandemic, and a look at lymphatic massage and how its rhythmic, circular motions can help improve your immune system. Also, expert Kristin Coverly explains why massage therapists might work on areas separate from the points of pain to help alleviate your discomfort, while nutritionist Alex Caspero shares a recipe for a protein-packed summer salad.

Don’t hesitate to reach out with questions or to discuss any of the information you find inside.

Very interesting research.

Very interesting research.

Icing muscles after strenuous exercise is not just ineffective, it could be counterproductive, a new study in mice suggests.

Hello all. As you may well know, per the governor, all massage therapy practices are closed until at least April 30th. I miss my clients! But we all need to heed the public health recommendations.
Be well, stay safe, stay home, stay positive. Wash your hands!!
😍

Clients and friends! Please know that I am taking even more precautions than usual in my practice, disinfecting doorknobs, pens, light switches, table (especially headrest), you name it, constantly. Nonetheless, should you wish to reschedule a session, please do not hesitate to do so. We all need to do our part! Take good care of yourselves!!
