Today at one of our favorite places, all of us at Almost Family are celebrating an incredible milestone—one of our amazing caregivers has just completed her 1,000th shift in one community!

To say she is the backbone of our team would be an understatement. Through endless hours of dedication, compassion, and consistency, she has touched hundreds of lives—clients, families, community members, and fellow staff alike.

She shows up every single day with heart, patience, and a commitment to making others feel safe, seen, and cared for. The impact she’s made can’t be measured in numbers alone, but this milestone is a beautiful reminder of just how much she gives.

We believe getting support should feel simple, comforting, and just a little bit sweeter—that’s why we’re here to help make Veteran Care feel like a piece of cake.

Too many Veterans and their families don’t realize they may qualify for in-home care through the Community Care Network. Navigating benefits shouldn’t feel overwhelming, and no one who served should go without the support they’ve earned.

Education is advocacy. The more we share, the more we can connect veterans to the care, dignity, and independence they deserve at home. ❤️🤍💙
