I am excited to announce that our next blood drive will be held on August 12th, 13th, and 14th, 2025, at Eifler Gym. Additionally, there will also be an opportunity to register as a donor for the Salute to Life DoD Bone Marrow Program at the blood drive. Please see the attachment for more details, including the schedule and location.

As you may know, a single unit of blood can save someone's life. Blood donations are essential to maintaining a healthy blood supply, and every donation counts. Whether you are a regular donor or a first-time donor, your contribution will make a significant difference in the lives of those in need.

The blood drive is open to all personnel and their families, and we encourage everyone to participate. Your donation will help support our soldiers and will be down range in 7 days. Air Mobility Division starts to track the blood shipment and gives blood a PRIORITY in getting to final location in combat theater of operations.

Remember, every unit of blood is precious, and your donation can be the difference between life and death for someone in need so mark your calendars for August 12-14, 2025, and join us at Eifler Gym to give the gift of life. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. We look forward to seeing you at the blood drive!

📍 RWBAHC Welcomes U.S. Army Human Resources Command!

Raymond W. Bliss Army Health Center extends a heartfelt thank you to the U.S. Army Human Resources Command (HRC) team for their recent visit!

During their time here, HRC conducted an informative briefing for both Enlisted Soldiers and Officers—covering key topics such as the Assignment Interactive Module (AIM), marketplace navigation, and career progression opportunities. Their transparency and engagement ensured every question was addressed, empowering our team with valuable insight.

Over the course of two days, HRC also provided individual one-on-one career counseling sessions, offering tailored guidance and support to Soldiers and their families. From assignment planning to professional development resources, their efforts directly supported the growth and readiness of our force.

Thank you, HRC, for your time, expertise, and commitment to Soldier success!

🎉 RWBAHC Celebrates 250 Years of Army Medicine! 🩺

On 28 July, Soldiers and staff of Raymond W. Bliss Army Health Center proudly celebrated the 250th Anniversary of Army Medicine—a legacy of care, courage, and commitment.

The morning began with a spirited PT run to honor our shared mission of readiness and resilience. Following, RWBAHC hosted a virtual Leadership Professional Development (LPD) with MG (Ret.) Jeffrey Clark. His powerful reflections on U.S. historical events and the enduring significance of our Constitution offered meaningful insight and inspiration to all in attendance.

To conclude the celebration, the RWBAHC team came together for a center-wide potluck, cake-cutting, and award ceremony—strengthening camaraderie and honoring our shared heritage.

Congratulations to 1SG Scott Samson and SFC Byron McWaters, who were awarded the Order of Military Medical Merit (O2M3) in recognition of over 15 years of selfless, dedicated AMEDD service. We also proudly recognized several team members with the Army Achievement Medal (AAM) for their outstanding contributions to the RWBAHC mission.

Thank you to all who continue to serve with honor and uphold the proud traditions of Army Medicine!
