My favorite thing is introducing people to the world of medicinal mushrooms.

And sure, mushrooms provide important nutrients, including selenium, potassium, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin D, proteins, and fiber, but I don’t know that I would reduce their magic to *just* vitamins.

From the Journal Microbiology:

“All together with a long history as food source, mushrooms are important for their healing capacities and properties in traditional medicine. It has reported beneficial effects for health and treatment of some diseases.

Many nutraceutical properties are described in mushrooms, such as prevention or treatment of Parkinson, Alzheimer, hypertension, and high risk of stroke.
They are also utilized to reduce the likelihood of cancer invasion and metastasis due to antitumoral attributes.

Mushrooms act as antibacterial, immune system enhancer and cholesterol lowering agents; additionally, they are important sources of bioactive compounds.

As a result of these properties, some mushroom extracts are used to promote human health and are found as dietary supplements.”

I’d say 🍄 are nature‘s funky little miracles and I want everyone to know it.

Breaking news! You’re hearing this first fans, my newest blend has dropped. It’s called Bloody Good and it’s, well, bloody good.
So far it’s only available in the powder but you get a cool spoon so that’s like pretty great. Try this one for lowering blood sugar and other bloody life situations.
Eew that sounded gross. But this blend is great, the cinnamon really gives it an aromatic kick.

I’d like to take a moment to spotlight my signature blend. This is where I started, back in the days when I wanted to add mushrooms and turmeric and other healthful items to my life but could not get past the sh*tty taste. Sorry not sorry.
So I crammed everything into capsules and never looked back. In fact, these are better than what I took, because these have all extracts. Yep, even the ginger. You only need to take ONE while I had to take like four because I didn’t have the knowledge or awareness about extracts. Back then I trusted Paul Stamets. That was a mistake, but a mistake that birthed ApotheCarrie. My loss is your gain.
No one should be fooled by a big name selling a subpar product.
All fruiting bodies. All extracts. Always handmade with love. Oh and F**K CANCER.
