The SPOT No-Cost Mobile Medical Clinic and Authorized Safe Syringe Exchange in Broward County Florida

The Special Purpose Outreach Team (The SPOT) is the only Syringe Services Program (SSP) approved by the Broward County Commission under the Infectious Disease Elimination Act (IDEA). We take a unique approach to healthcare through our cutting-edge mobile medical clinic, strategically designed to extend vital services to historically underserved communities across Broward County. We are dedicated to delivering quality healthcare services, seamlessly integrating mental health support, addiction assistance, and harm reduction initiatives into our comprehensive care model. Care Resource’s behavioral health team offers a spectrum of services from behavioral health support to addiction services and harm reduction strategies. The SPOT serves as a beacon of health, hope, and inclusivity, making a positive impact on the health of our community.

The good samaritan law in florida protects you if you call 911 for help in an emergency overdose situation! Always call 911 if you suspect someone is overdosing and stay with them until help arrives!
