Yesterday, we received an urgent request from another air ambulance company for an immediate response to Marsh Harbour, Bahamas, to transport an acute stroke/brain injury patient. The requesting company was unable to respond in a timely manner due to their minimum four-hour ramp-up time. We promptly launched our response. As the only advanced life support air ambulance helicopter in the Bahamas, we maintain 24/7 readiness with a full staff. Upon arrival, the patient was awaiting at the airport, and our crew immediately initiated treatment to stabilize and transport the patient to the Florida Stroke Center in Ft. Lauderdale. Upon arrival, the patient was met by a comprehensive stroke team and, following evaluation, underwent immediate neurosurgery. This successful outcome marks another life saved by Tropic Air Rescue. We encourage you to join our program to avoid delays in care that can prove deadly. When a member experiences a serious emergency, help is just a phone call away. Membership and early activation are crucial to achieving a successful outcome. Help us

In spite of the looming threat of a major hurricane bearing down on the Bahamas, TROPIC AIR RESCUE launched an early morning operation at the request of a member organization. An employee of theirs was suffering a stroke and necessitated immediate medical care. As the only ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT aircraft unit capable of accessing this individual, TROPIC AIR RESCUE responded without delay. Upon arrival at Great Harbour Island, the patient's condition was extremely critical, with mere minutes remaining to intervene. Our medical team rapidly administered the necessary medications to stabilize the patient and promptly transported him to Ft Lauderdale for specialized treatment at the Stroke center. It is essential to emphasize that early activation is vital for a successful outcome. Consider joining our growing membership service and supporting our life-saving initiatives. Help us "SAVE YOUR LIFE!"
