After diagnosis everyone was so concerned.

During surgery and my hospital stay was even worse.

When I got home everyone was asking how I was and what I needed every few minutes.

3 weeks after surgery they are laughing at how my lips look when I try out my kissy face! 😂

Tomorrow I’ll google exercises I can start doing…too tired today!

Ok! Went to Jackie’s dance comp for a bit last night and this morning. Fully equipped with my ear plugs! I will say that with all the patterns in the wallpaper and carpets in the hotel it was impossible to walk a straight line but it was nice to watch the girls dance. They are dancing tonight too but I need a bit of a rest. Hopefully next week will be a bit better! I just logged into the live stream for tonight’s dances. Can’t wait to see them. With Covid protocols I haven’t seen ANYTHING yet. I can’t wait!

What brain surgery?!! Look what I assembled! (Michael unboxed it since I can’t lift anything heavier than 10 lbs yet) I’m ready for those seeds! 💐
Full disclosure…I’m still in my jammies. The surgeon seemed happy I was wearing regular clothes yesterday so I’m going to get dressed now though I really don’t want to. Then I think it’s a couple of hours of TV after that!

This is Michael again posting for my superhero also known as my wife! Laura has been moved out of ICU and is doing great! We went on a walk ( her second of the day) and also did some stairs! She is eating more substantial foods and is more alert and talkative, although she is snoring as I write this 😂. The rumor is she will be discharged tomorrow! Keep those positive thoughts and prayers coming! Thank you all for your love and support.

Again, this is Michael posting for Laura, the beautiful courageous bad-ass! The day after surgery update. Laura has been up and went for a walk, has had a few bites of yummy hospital food and is passing all of the neurological tests with flying colors. She is feeling nauseous and her head hurts which she is controlling with a pain pump they gave her last night. She is sleeping a great deal which wee sure is helping the healing process. Hopefully she will be moved out of the ICU sometime today. Thank you again for all your love, support, prayers and positive thoughts. I share them all with Laura when she is awake so keep them coming. Love to all!!

This is Michael posting for his beautiful, strong and courageous wife Laura. She went into surgery at about 8:00 this morning. The doctor’s office just called stating that the surgery is going very well and that she should be in the recovery room by 4:00. A few more hours and the road to recovery begins. Thank you for all of your positive thoughts and prayers!! We love you all!

The plan was to go live tonight but I’m too spent! We have to be up at 4:15 tomorrow to get to the hospital in time for the surgery. We’ve had a nice night with a very romantic dinner at Jersey Mike’s and then back to the hotel. (First time we are on a hotel, just the two of us, in over 16 years!!! It only took a brain tumor to make that happen.) Well I am so full of love and appreciation for all the messages of encouragement and prayers I have received tonight! I am truly a blessed woman! Love you guys!!!

I did it. Might be the most stressful event post diagnosis…driving in the rain to the city, finding parking then the building. 😂 I got here very early though with few mishaps. My new fav person (steve the parking attendant) told me to turn the wrong way on 168th street but not a big deal. The rain even let up for a bit during my walk to the testing building. Think it’s bad form to nap in the waiting room? 🤪
