Before & 1 month after Dysport for acne โœจ

This patient came in struggling with stubborn forehead breakouts. We treated the area with Dysport and started a simple skincare routine with benzoyl peroxide + salicylic acid. She told me she was already noticing improvement just 4 days after her Dysport treatment ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

So how does Dysport help acne?

When we inject Dysport into the forehead, it relaxes the tiny muscles around the pores and decreases oil production from the sebaceous glands. Less oil = less pore congestion and fewer breakouts. It can also reduce pore size and skin texture, which helps the forehead look smoother overall.

A great option for patients who struggle with oily skin, enlarged pores, and stubborn forehead acne.

I get asked all the time: โ€œWhen is the right time to start Botox?โ€

The honest answer? It depends.

Everyone has different genetics, different muscle strength, different skin quality, and different lifestyles. There isnโ€™t one โ€œmagic ageโ€ that applies to everyone.

I always tell my patients โ€” when you start to see static lines (lines that are visible at rest, not just when youโ€™re making expressions), thatโ€™s usually a great time to consider treatment.

Why? Because once those lines are etched in at rest, they can be harder to fully smooth out. Preventing them from deepening is much easier than reversing them later.

Botox isnโ€™t about freezing your face โ€” itโ€™s about softening movement strategically and keeping skin looking smooth and refreshed long-term.
