A Moment with God and Me...

Brothers and Sisters...
Do not be like those who are all about themselves and their own significance as they seek to rob God of His glory.

This wisdom is not only for individuals who believe themselves not open to being questioned, though in actuality it certainly is for them.
It is also a strong warning to every one of God’s people.
Let us hate the thought that in our Churches we might ever think about taking from the Glory that God deserves in order to serve, enrich, or enjoy ourselves.
This Sunday, as you head to your church, remember that you are there first and foremost not for yourself, but to glorify our God, our Lord Jesus through the Power of the Holy Spirit and encourage His people. Amen

A Gifting Attitude…
“Gift What You Need”

Preface: The Bible speaks clearly to being a Cheerful Giver. Here at “Gift What You Need We refer to Giving as a Gift. Therefore the use of the word “Gift” is our message to the World!

Dear Friends, Do You know what "Gift What You Need" is??

WE all know that most things We do in this Life are a result of our Attitude. Question? How do you have the right attitude? A Gifting attitude that God wants you to have when you Gift to the less fortunate?
Answer. It starts with your heart. God is a lot more interested in your willingness to Gift than your wealth. Why? Because He’s interested in what’s happening in your heart when you decide to Gift.
The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 9:7, “You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. "For God loves a person who gives cheerfully” This verse talks directly to five key heart attitudes you should adopt when you Gift.
Gift Thoughtfully. Don’t be impulsive. The most spiritual kind of Gift is when you Think and Pray about it. Then You and God make a better decision about it. Why? Because when we plan anything that’s important in our lives Prayer works!. God wants your gifting to be important and meaningful in your life.
Gift Enthusiastically. Don’t just say, “I have to gift! Gift because you know God’s going to change your Heart in a big way when you become a generous person and the recipient will be Blessed as well!
Gift Voluntarily. Any time you feel pressured to gift, don’t do it. God’s not going to bless it anyway. However, every time you feel challenged by God to Gift, you should Pray and obey.
Gift Cheerfully. God wants you to enjoy gifing to him and to others. Sometimes it’s hard to be cheerful when God’s challenging you to gift. Whenever you feel that way, just remind yourself of the benefits of what God wants to do in your heart. Why be generous? It creates community. It defeats materialism. It strengthens your faith. It’s an investment for eternity. It blesses you in return. And it makes you more like Jesus.
Gift with Joy. There is a certain sense of joy that we experience, not only when we receive but also when we gift . Becoming a joy-gifter says everything; it means that you are faithfully living for God and that nothing else counts, and if one gifts joy to others we are doing God's work. With joy, without and within, all is well.
To conclude… How did Jesus give us joy?
Remember…His entire ministry was filled with bringing joy to people's lives. Now it’s our turn to “Be Like Christ” God Bless You!

"Gift What You Need"
“All Authority in Heaven and on Earth"

A Question: Who has ALL Authority in Heaven and on Earth?
Perhaps it’s time for a wake up call!
From Matthew 28: 18-19 18 And Jesus came and said to them:

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit”, Amen

You might be thinking; Hey, why are You bringing this up? And/ or perhaps “What’s this got to do with the atrocities we are witnessing in the USA and the World right now?”
Allow me to explain. This Scripture from Matthew speaks loudly to the need that exists more than ever in this broken World we call home. I mean seriously, stop and think about the actions of mankind and how we treat one another.
Where’s the Love, the Compassion, and the Care for one another that Jesus speaks about. “The “Good News” He shared with as many as He could during His mortal lifetime. His goal here was to plant as many seeds as possible that would grow into the future of mankind. Those seeds were to be spread by disciples who were willing to accept the challenge of helping to make disciples in all nations of The World.
Let’s break it down…
The Title of this writing is “Gift What You Need” and it is appropriate to what not only what You Need, but also what should be in your Heart to share with others what they need as well. What should be that need?

Let’s face it, we all have needs, wants, and desires from our life on this earth. However, those collectively are needs, wants, and desires of the World. What about Our Salvation? Are You aware of this, the greatest need of all? I Pray You are. But I know many are not.

Unfortunately We live in a World of Greed, Moral corruption, Hatred, and deception by would-be leaders and people who are in it for their own gain at your expense and mine. This is nothing new. Jesus himself when entering the Temple on two occasions witnessed this. The first time occurred earlier in his public ministry, as recorded in John 2:13-17. And the second, more dramatic instance when He was angered and tipped over the tables of the money changers which occurred during the final week before his crucifixion, in Matthew 21:12-17 and Mark 11:15-18. Why was Jesus upset? Because the temple, meant to be a place of prayer, was instead being used for illegal commercial activities, which was and is a serious offense to God. And let us not forget that the Jewish High Priests did not want Jesus Preaching and gaining more followers. He was stepping on their toes! Therefore they sent Him to the cross to be Crucified.

Now let’s think about the situations we are dealing with today. I know, some will say that it’s necessary and some will say it should be handled differently.
What do You suppose this Country, the USA would be like, let alone the World, if We ALL chose to follow the Teachings of Jesus versus the individual wants and desires of Leaders and people that are in the game for Control, Greed, Money, and their own agendas?
Because as the money changers back in the day did their thing for their own gain, there are also Elected Leaders of the USA and Yes, the World are who are doing the same thing.
I realize in writing this that some may choose to make this a partisan issue but may I ask You this:
Who among them or You is “Being like Jesus?”
Please take time to think about this.
Personally, I know as a “Follower and a Disciple of Jesus” I can not be Left or Right, Red or Blue on this issue. Plain and Simple It’s either right or it’s wrong! Ask this as well: “What would Jesus do?”
Would He sit back and say oh well that’s just the way it is? I think not!
Remember also this Scripture: Jesus stated that whatever kindness is shown to "one of the least of these my brothers," is, in essence, done to Him, as recorded in Matthew 25:40. This teaching comes from the parable of the sheep and the goats, where the King separates the righteous, who cared for the hungry, thirsty, naked, ill, and imprisoned, from the unrighteous, who neglected them. Think about that…What if that were done today!
Another Question: Are We witnessing that from Our Leadership and others in this Country and yes again, from the World?

Believe Me, I Pray on this! That We all would open our eyes to the Truth. What is right and what is wrong.

In closing for now, I ask You to please go back to the question “WHAT WOULD JESUS DO” and therefore what should You do and “We the People” do?
Please Pray on this before You allow your anger that You are being provoked into to cause You to do or act differently from what is good and right.
And Yes, People are dying from this life and going to their forever home and a forever life of glory with Jesus for these beliefs.
It is happening every day.
Also let us not forget that Jesus himself went to the Cross and shed His blood for the forgiveness of Our Sins. The biggest “Gift What You Need” of all!
Again, BE LIKE JESUS! If that’s something You are not aware of or unsure of then Please seek help and guidance on this.

Remember this Life here is not permanent and the road to Salvation that We all need comes from Faith, Belief, and becoming a Follower of Jesus!
It is a True Gift of God!
Remember also, God Loves You and so do I…

What does it mean to You when You Hear and Read in the Scriptures "Follow Me?"
When Jesus said, "Follow me," He was giving a call to discipleship that meant obeying His teachings, believing in Him as the Messiah and Savior, abandoning earthly comforts and sins, and becoming like Him in mind and spirit. It was an invitation to a life transforming, high commitment relationship requiring a complete surrender of self to God's will, even to the point of daily bearing one's own "cross" of hardship or sacrifice.
I personally can attest that letting go of ME and letting God wasn't easy. However when I did, I began to live with Purpose and devotion. I took what the Doctor said to Me 8 Years ago: "Go Home. There's nothing We can do for You. You've got Stage 4 Metastasized Cancer with 6-12 Months to Live"
HEY! I'm still here! Praise God!

“Sanctification and Justification”

Dear Friends…
When We get up, Dress up, and go to “The Church” to Worship We are in fact joining together to Pray with Brothers and Sisters in the name of Jesus.
Now I do realize that I may not agree with everything another agrees with nor they with Me.
However I can Promise You this…
We that join together as a “Church” in the name of Jesus do all agree on “The Good News.”
That is that Jesus died on a Cross in the place of sinners.
That He was raised for our justification, and that He sent the Spirit to Sanctify us and to fill us. Therefore as We Believe and have that Faith, We receive our Salvation!
Also as promised, the Gospel does create within us a confident anticipation of the return of Jesus. It also causes us to view the world from a heavenly perspective, not a Worldly one.
I Pray that You see and Feel this!
Bottom line… Find Jesus! And when You do and be like Him, You’ll know You have a “Forever Home” awaiting your entrance in Heaven!
Praise God!

A Moment with God and Me…
“The Golden Rule” 9/05/25

My personal time with God early in the morning gives me time to not only Pray, but also to reflect on what's happening around Me, My Family, and Friends. I Pray for us ALL!

What happened yesterday is now a memory, good, bad, or indifferent. We can’t change yesterday but it did happen and whether it be indifferent or not good, we can change how we handle it.
Should You react to it or respond to it? Mostly we react. The Why is an age old question.
It has been proven that we need to respond after careful consideration and then take action.

For example, take what’s going on in this country today. I don’t know how You Think or feel about it, but it’s not good. No, not at all. Which brings me back to scripture of how we are supposed to be, act, and help one another. That is with Civility and Love.
And of course we know that Jesus was during His lifetime here the perfect example of this. For example from Matthew;
“Whenever you did it for any of my people, no matter how unimportant they seemed, you did it for me. . . . Whenever you failed to help any of my people, no matter how unimportant they seemed, you failed to do it for me.”

How we act and how we treat others is the same. It's as if we’re doing it directly to him!
Have You thought for a moment how that plays out during your daily life? I sure Hope so!

And how about the “Golden Rule?” It's the definition of Civility. “Treat others like you want to be treated, even if you disagree with them, even if they’re flat-out wrong, and even if they’re fighting against you.”
In Matthew 7:12, Jesus says, “In everything, do to others what you would have them do to you” (NIV)
Question to think about?? Why have we as a society gone so far astray that we don’t think about this let alone practice it?

And what about Charity…We need to live with charity in our hearts and minds. Also forgiveness, mercy, kindness, grace, and compassion. All these things all wrapped are showing love to people as Jesus would and does!

I Believe that it’s time for us ALL to stop judging the world and start loving it. How about You?

In closing for now, please remember this, “God so loved the world” (John 3:16 NIV).
God loves ALL of His people and he wants us ALL to love them too.

Yes, there’s a battle going on out there. However Evil can only lurk where it’s allowed to!
There are many people being treated wrongly and they are not the enemy.
They are our mission field and they are the people that Jesus died for.
Please remember that when You see or hear about the unfairness and the atrocities going on.
So let’s ALL treat them like Jesus treated people. with hospitality, civility, and charity and Yes LOVE.

God Loves You and so do I…

A Moment with God and Me”
“Who’s on First!” 9/03/25

If You are old enough, You will no doubt remember a comedy skit done by Abott and Costello about “Who’s on First!” (It’s in Black and White) If you're not, Watch it!! It’s very funny!

I mention it because it has a sense of confusion around “Who’s on First.” Hint” Now in the Skit about baseball the name of the First baseman is “Who.”

My Question for You is “”Who’s on First” in Your Life??

Perhaps it’s Your Family? Your Husband or Wife? Friends? Or maybe it’s just You? Most of us can and will admit more times than not that it's YOU!

We as Humans think about ourselves more than anything else. I know I have many times over during my life!
However, when it comes to being and doing as We are supposed to as Followers of Jesus, We are not to be number one. We also think it’s my money, my house, my car, etc. But is it? Actually, NO!

It’s not that God doesn’t want You to have things but He wants you to live with generosity and a sense of priority to Him and for Him first.
As the Scripture says: “Your Father knows what you need. But put God’s work first, and these other things will be yours as well.” Luke 12:30-31
Remember in John 3:16 He says: “God so loved . . . that he gave”

Some years ago now God planted seeds in my mind as a thought and an expression. He said: “Gift What You Need”
I wasn’t sure of the intention of that saying and kept Praying on it until one day it hit me. WOW! I am supposed to “Gift What I Need” without selfishness and do as Jesus did with others!
God Gifted Jesus to Us and then He Jesus, Gifted to many and then He Gifted all to Us on the Cross.
During His short Lifetime here He taught His Disciples and they learned to follow His Ways and also Gift to others so that they in turn would do the same.
Realize that every time you Gift, you become more like Jesus. Every time you Gift, your heart grows bigger. Every time you Gift, you break the grip of materialism in your life. When you Gift, you win a spiritual victory every time. In other words, God wants you to use your Gifts that You have received from Him by becoming a Disciple of Jesus and then to show and help people learn about “The Good News” and to also receive Salvation through Faith and Belief.
Perhaps you might meet someone along the way who will say, “Thank you! Your Gift helped Me, My Family, and also build a Church and I am now saved because that Church reached me. Now I’m your Brother or Sister forever.”
Gifts are multiplied over and over!
Some people believe that the Bible says that money is the root of all evil. But it doesn’t. It says; “The love of money is the root of all kinds of evil” (1 Timothy 6:10) Money is just a tool that can help you love people as you live generously and “Gift What You Need”.
Jesus was saying the same when he said, “Your Father knows what you need. But put God’s work first, and these other things will be yours as well” (Luke 12:30-31).
Many things in your life such as your Family, career, education, friendships, romance, and finances, etc. are good and are all Gifts from God. Remember, God says to put him first!
In closing for now, there should be no confusion as to “Who’s on First” during our lifetime here.
Let’s face it, The ultimate “Gift that You Need” is Salvation and there’s no other way to Heaven without it!
Always and in all ways “Gift What You Need” and remember “Who’s on First.” Live Your Life like Jesus did and as a follower of His way He will help you with everything else! Amen!

You gotta have FAITH!

I Live in Gods Grace with Faith like Abraham!
All of us can come to God through Faith in his Son, Jesus Christ. There is not one of Us, no matter what, that Jesus didn't die for!
That includes the person you see in the mirror every day!
Think about that then go look in the mirror!

A Moment with God and Me…
“Who Knows?”
During my ** “2 Chairs” time with God this morning I read this sentence written by the Apostle Paul:
“Who knows what He might do with a life that YOU have fully surrendered to Him?” In Acts 20:24: I also read: “But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.”
WOW! Now there’s two statements of devotion to God and Our Lord and Savior Jesus!
I immediately went to questioning Myself as to My devotion to God. I asked myself on a scale of 1 to 10 how much of My Life that I have left have I surrendered to Him?
Makes one think?? Firstly, I don't know how much time I have left. Also in so much as I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer 8 Years ago and told I only had 6-12 Months left to live and I’m still here this is ever so important.
Also from Acts 20:20, I asked myself will I be able to finish my course and the Ministry that I have received? Of course neither You nor I can answer that question. But what we can do is Faithfully serve the Lord as if We only have today. Remember this: The Road is short and Hell is Hot!

In my various readings I also remember a story of a preacher that said that he was “content to be God’s errand boy.” Could you say that?
Could You be content with serving with more of You if it means that Jesus’s glory will increase? Also do you want to serve for the good of others?
Let’s be serious, those around us may not be able to tell what motivates us, but we can be sure that Jesus whom we claim to follow and serve most certainly does.
Perhaps this is a good opportunity to prayerfully consider at what level of Service do You feel You are at and where is your want and desire to do what Jesus asked us to do?
Remember that He asks his followers, You and I, to: “ Love God with all our hearts, our souls, and our minds, and to love our neighbors.” All our neighbors! Beyond this, He calls for repentance, faith, compassion, forgiveness, and selfless service to others. He also instructs Us believers to make disciples, baptize, and teach others. Ultimately, Jesus calls for a life of following him, taking up one's cross, and seeking God's kingdom first.

In closing for now, as the title of this writing says: “Who Knows”
Yes, who knows what a difference We can make for the Kingdom of God with our “Selfless” devotion and service. The “Who” that knows is Jesus!
Every bit of what We think and do counts for saving Souls and increasing God’s Kingdom.
Now let’s get out there and do it!

God Bless You!
~Jeffrey Miller

A Moment with God and Me…
"The Lord's Prayer"

Recently I was reading the Lord’s Prayer. Not because I don’t know it by Heart and Pray it every day, but to have a better understanding of exactly what it says and means when You break it down.
I’ve come to realize that The Lord’s Prayer actually says that God, as our Father, Our Creator, provides Three essential things:
Provision, Pardon, and Protection.
1- Provision for today (“give us today our daily bread”);
2- Pardon for yesterday (“forgive us our debts as we have forgiven our debtors”)
3- Protection for tomorrow (“lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one”) (Matthew 6:11-13 (NIV).

In today’s language, God is actually saying, “I’ve got all the bases covered for You:
Present, past, and Future.
Your present: I’ll provide.
Your past: You Sinned but it’s okay. You are Forgiven because You Believe in My son.
Your future: Don’t worry; don’t fear “I’ll take care of yesterday’s failures, today’s frustrations, and tomorrow’s fears because I am a capable Father.”
So, Here We go. Let’s ALL read it and Believe it!
And Yes, Live it!

“Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.” Amen!
Remember God Loves You and so do I!

A Moment with God and Me...
"Never Will I Leave You!"

Recently I have not written as I normally do.
The why is I had the extreme Blessing of traveling to England with My Darling Wife Emily Miller to be with Family over the past 3 weeks.
We have not had the chance to do so in 6 Years do to many different reasons. We Thank God the time came that We were able to go! We are Truly Blessed!

Now back to writing...
I'd like to discuss those times when We don't feel the Presence of God. Also when We doubt and question the Bible.

The Bible is an amazing Book filled with "The Word of God."
But some will say that they don't enjoy reading the Bible let alone Believe it.
Also that it's to complicated to understand and even boring as well.

Take the Book of Esther for example. To read it might bring up the Question about the absence of God being spoken about.
Actually, It is one of only two Biblical books that don’t mention God by name. The other is the Song of Solomon.
Why the omission? Biblical scholars have offered all kinds of explanations. But the fundamental reason why God’s name does not appear may just be the simplest: because perhaps He didn’t want it there.
Now that leads us to an even bigger question: Why would God not want His name to be mentioned in Esther’s story?

Many will say that it is because God wants to teach us that there will be times in life when it feels like He is absent. However that's never the case. He is Omi Present.
While God’s written name is missing from Esther, His presence is totally evident. Think about it...He is at work in the refusal of the Persian queen, Vashti, to accede to her husband’s angry demands (Esther 1:12). He is at work in making the young Jewish woman who the Book is named, Esther, beautiful (2:7). He is at work in the sleep patterns of the king and in his reading choices (6:1). And He is at work in overruling the hatred of the king’s first minister, Haman (8:7-8, 17). Esther lived “in the days of Ahasuerus, who was a mighty Persian king. But she also lived in the days of the almighty Creator God, who rules on high and She knew it!
We are also living in those same days just a different date.

We need to remember that Life’s story always reveals to us that God is always and in all ways in the details.
The Book of Esther makes clear that God is present not only in the “lightning bolts” of His intervention or in the parting of the Red Sea (Exodus 14) or the calming of the storm (Mark 4:35-41) but also in every second of every moment of every hour of our lives.
God is always there and working His purpose out.

Often in this Life I have found myself in the midst of deep darkness and circumstances that have certainly overwhelmed Me.
Without a doubt You have too.
That being the case, I pray that God will help you hear His word both when spoken and written. God always promises, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5, NIV) which tells Us that “All things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28) and which calls us to “Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you” (Psalm 55:22).

In closing for now, Realize this...
When God appears to be most absent in your life, He is still at work. He's right there with You. As Believers and followers of Jesus We all have the Power of God's Holy Spirit whom dwells inside Us.
We are Truly never alone!!
God Bless You.

The Reason behind I AM Transformational

A Moment with Me... What is I AM Transformational?? Simply put, the act of Transformation is a process of profound and radical change that orients a Person in a new direction and takes You to an entirely different level such as in Your Spiritual Belief, Your Health, and your Mindset. Transformation is a daily occurrence, not some magical spell that God will do way down the road when You are older. Ask yourself this Question: If I am the same person today as I was yesterday, then how can I expect to be a completely transformed person at the end of my life? When I found out I had, as they said "Terminal Stage 4 Cancer" with no chance of Surgery, Radiation or Chemo doing any good, believe Me, My Wife and I were shocked! I knew based on my Belief, Faith in God and learned experiences that I had with Clients and with others in the past, that a full Transformation was not only possible but I was destined to do it and become it!
